Earlier this year, Professor Penrose became obsessed with uncovering evidence of a "Previously Undocumented Species of Diminutive, Bearded Botany Enthusiasts". Despite several warnings that she should stop with the silly folk stories and focus on the real science of ghosts and aliens; she refused and was subsequently fired. Imagine our surprise when some time later those same diminutive botany enthusiasts appeared at the ticket desk, attempting to claim both the senior's and child's discounts on entry tickets.

Despite being proven correct, we declined to re-hire Prof. Penrose; who's firing suspiciously coincided with the mysterious disappearance of the Museum's "Phantom Pooer". Our most recent reports indicate she was last scene at a nearby nursery demanding that the lawn ornaments "reveal the secrets of their sodding conspiracy".
