Summary
The goal of this build is simple: maximize survivability until your damage can scale through Ephemeral Armor and armored attack. Once you’ve got a steady proc engine, you snowball into late game.

Character:
I feel as though Kinno is best suited to this as you need to keep barrier up as much as you can.

Equipment Sets:
  • Golden+Arcanum: Emperor's Will provides both barrier and golden heart for survivability.
  • Blackthorn: Great armor stats and the set bonus provides damage reflect through your armor.
  • Jade: Procs dazzle on enemies which grants the ephemeral armor and reapplies the dazzle stack again and again.
  • Ancient Shell: Applies toughness to all damage types.
  • Legacy/Invulnerium: Legacy together with arcanum makes you very resistant to damage/death.
  • Generic: You need armored attack from the gaunlet to scale damage off ephemeral armor.

Tinkering:
Tinkering is very good and late game you will want to constantly merge divines for diamonds.
  • Run jade helmets (or amulet) on the blackthorn pieces.
  • Run blackthorn helmets on jade pieces (excluding weapon usually), golden helmet, and turtle boots and ring of unity when you get it.

Misc:
  • Grab the eldership scroll from the merchant first chance you get.
  • There is a dismantle at 85 and 110, have good equipment prepared.
  • Ring of unity is obviously late game, run with a giants ring for toughness and dismantle it when it reaches divine to cap static toughness (it will be capped if you do so with turtle boots equipped).
  • Grab a confusion scroll from the merchant when you can.

Feel free to post possible improvements - I was building a jesters mask that would have pushed further but didnt manage to get to the next dismantle spot (if it exists..)

Stage 128 - I did not die once from atleast floor 50, I think i died here because none of the mobs had armor that I could steal and dazzle wasnt enough on its own.

Note: Green stats were supported with dismantles.

For earlier dismantle spots - it helps to dismantle a high level turtle set glove - at level 4-5 it gives ~3000% armored attack. Basically try to maximize multipliers. A few thousand dazzle from upgrading the items you use doesn't help much I think. Also don't waste gems to convert items that aren't Divine yet (your helmet doesn't have the full 153% armor boost). Probably it's better to use the first 2 Divine Helmets on the boots and helmet - because of the double multiplier.
To avoid the problem with 'they don't have armor' - activate the first 3 challenges - it will also give you some extra gems. The time challenge might work for some too (for me this is kind of 'afk' game that I play on my second screen while doing other things. And the time challenge just doesn't make sense for a turn based game).
About the Jesters Mask - it doesn't increase Dazzle. It will increase only Wisdom / Eldership, but because of Empty Bastion - you don't really need it.

Shatterwave uses 'Physical Attack' to calculate damage (the tooltip is wrong). It doesn't work with Armored Attack. I've used the same build with Riel. But changed Shatterwave to Mimicry. I'm currently at level 157. Mana Steal might work too.
Another thing to notice - your inventory is kind of 'empty' :) The 'late game' phase the goal is to banish everything that you don't need, and fill your inventory with Divine items. When you open a chest - you get more Divine items - and when you combine them - you get extra gems. And you should use them on items for dismantling. If you get an item that isn't Divine - just sell it.
The 'dismantle spot' is every 25 levels, starting from level 10. At some point you should also buy omni crit scroll, max crit chance and dismantle the sword with crit damage - at level 4 or 5 it gives ~3600% crit damage, which is another multiplier that isn't utilized here yet.
