Описание
MOD IS STILL HEAVILY WORK-IN-PROGRESS!

ohZeroOne, a.k.a. O01 / the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WARNO gamer here! In my almost 1k hours of playing this game, I've been though WARNO's various phases of rebalancing and adding new things and said "♥♥♥♥ it, why not mod the game to add and change some stuff I've wanted to see for a while", and so I did!

Please bear in mind with ME and my lack of experience. As of writing this text (Sep 20th, 2025) I have at best less than 2 weeks of modding experience.


WARNO: Rebalanced & Realistic

What is WARNO: R&R? This mod aims to do these 2 asforementioned aspects to the game:
- Rebalance the game to be more rewarding for micromanagement, along with introducing DLC or exclusive content and troops into other divisions.

- introduce some "Realism" in the form of changing units and troops. Basically, if you've ever said "this troop/unit does or would have some special type of equipment in real life if the Cold War turned hot", I might have added that!


REBALANCING:
Some units or gameplay mechanics feel too slow, some feel too fast. I've wanted to try and rebalance the game's mechanics to be much less "random" and encourage more skill based micromanagement.

For Example:
- ALL air-to-air missiles for jets now have aim time (adjusted appropriately dependent on the missile's range), this change was done to slow down the pace of dogfighing. Previously (and in the base game), all air-to-air missiles from jets have a 0 second lock & fire time, making jet combat significantly random and unbalanced especially when it came to longer v.s. shorter ranged missiles. A simple aim time adjustment I feel has reduced this "randomness" of jets, e.g. having moments where fighter-bombers would "instant flick" a missile onto helicopters when going in for a bombing run, or certain jets like the MiG-31 having near zero counterplay in team battles due to their ability to instantly aim and shoot across the map.

- Some tank cannons have their AP range values changed as well. The L/44's on the Abrams and Leopard 2's for example have slightly increased range (2350m) compared to the T80's cannon (default 2275), and the M1A1 HA's tank cannon has been increased as well (to 2425m). The only Soviet tank that has seen change is the T80U series, with cannons that match to the range of the L/44. These changes were done to counteract the soviet's dominance of GLATGM's, emphasizing the need for the Soviets to either outmaneuver and kill western tanks, or stay at range to suppress or catch them off guard with the ATGM's.


REALISM:
There are a few changes to units done not just on the terms of rebalancing, but on the terms of adding some more "realism" to the game.

For Example:

- Certain troops such as the Deltas in the 101st Airborne have been forced to be upvetted to max level and have lost their M14 rifle; however, they also have received the Navy Seal's special M60's and Smoke Grenades as well. This was done to transform them into a hard hitting unconventional warfare force, much like how Deltas could be used in real life.

- Entire units have also been adjusted; the Soviet 119th now has much less T80U's & UD's, but have recieved some cards of the T80 IZD's as a cheaper alternative. Along with this, they have had their infantry tab expanded by 1 slot, having 1 cheaper slot, and they have gotten some of the 27th Guards Motostrelk's TTsko troops equipped with BMP-3's as compensation for losing some of their T80U's.

- I am also working on readding cut content or exclusive singleplayer content to multiplayer divisions. The T80UK (CMD) has been readded to the 119th's roster with 2 cards, and now has the "Electro-Dazzler trait" to mimic the use of the Shtora-1 APS as seen on the real T80UK. I will continue on adding singleplayer content to other divisions, such as the 6th Motostrelk being able to use the Beute I-HAWKs like they do in single player.
