"After such long years, years of frustration, pain, obstacles, and many more, you find yourself alone in the moonlight. You've spent the more recent years in recovery, escaping the pain that was once there. It lingers in your mind but each day it gets just a bit quieter. Your close friends helped you in not succumbing to the darkness and you've done what you could to repay them appropriately. Only recently did that darkness rear its head again, tempting you to regress just for that short term and hollow dream.

Your resolve was strong enough to allow you to resist it. You made your decision and while your words were giving the impression of redemption, you know that it will never be achieved and you want it to stay that way. You got on your trusted Air Ride Machine and flew off into the horizon, knowing that you've earned time to rest.

The number 8 has had a surprising amount of relevance to you. You find yourself thinking about that. 7 years ago, this was a day you cherished. That same year, ending in an 8, was the start of your lesson in dealing with just about anyone you could meet. 8% was a fun little reference you held to yourself because you thought it was funny. 4 years ago, just before the same day, you were dreading the reminder of that day, but instead when it rolled around you were brought together with multiple old friends who, while not all of them stuck around, cherish you and actually want to see you grow. It's become a day that you can appreciate again, this time with no strings attached.

Today, it's now a reminder of how much you've grown. It's possible the darkness will try to find its way back in, but you're well-equipped to cast it away. Perhaps that very darkness is watching you from afar and will instead work from the shadows against you, perhaps even reading this exact thought. Wouldn't be the first time. You just know that everything is going to be okay now.

As you finish contemplating, you walk over to get your Parasol in case of rain as you fly to your next destination, but you're not truly worried about that, as there's always the sunshine after the rain."
