Gathering resources
When you begin your kingdom you will have 4 kinds of resources, Food, Wood, Stone, and Gold. i personally think gold is the most important because you can buy other resources and hire mercenaries. At the start of the game you'll want to focus on gathering wood and gold because you use wood and gold to build most buildings and only wood to build houses, you will also want a large stockpile of food to create troops. later in-game you will want stone to siege castles and other players from a camp.
Making troops and armies
Making troops are easy just dont spend all your food and gold on one kind of soldiers. while human melee troops are very good slightly upgraded if you dont know how to upgrade soldiers you either make them kill enemies or go to another city and spent some gold in the training grounds. now don't spend all your food and gold on human and goblin archers while the goblins have the most numbers and the humans are medium in strength and numbers elven archers are probly the best to get out of the three because they have the best fire rate and they can hide from enemies. I don't know alot about the orcs but i do like their siege engines, the grinder and the siege catapult because the cataputs are not costly and the grinders rip enemies to shreds.

Now let's move on to making armies. some people get confused on how to create armies it is actually very simple (not to make anyone feel stupid). All you have to do is go to click on your kingdom in the world map and press create army. Click the troops you want to put into your army them press create then you can travel anywhere in Mythador aka the whole map.
Doing Quests
The first quests are easy, killing on your estate, trading, and building. but as you advance all it will be is conquer enemy camps and killing armies. i highly recommend bringing a moderate amount of archers for conquering armies and both for conquering a castle. The armies are the easiest part but do not underestimate their numbers. castles are the hard part i would recommend bringing tree ents to get get over the walls for your troops.
Buildings and Walls
As your battle protection runs out players will start besieging you and it will get annoying so walls are your main defense against units so protect your gates as much as you can but when you get stone walls put oil pots above the gates and stone tippers to the sides. Build a black-smith as fast as you can if you want stone walls, the black-smith helps a lot when it comes to upgrading troops. Some of the most important buildings are the warehouses, farms, dwarven quarters (to train miners).
