Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a great remake, but added a very annoying feature: the butt bounce now has a delay that stops you mid air the first three butt bounces you do in a sequence. This was likely done to make controls less loose for less experienced players.

Experimenting with Cheat Engine, I found that you can trick the game into thinking you're already on your fourth, fith... butt bounce. That way, now you only have a delay the first butt bounce you do and the rest is delay-free. Helps tremendously to keep momentum going and makes the game flow better.

I haven't found a way to remove the first delay as that's probably more tricky as you're transitioning from a regular jump to a bounce state and that likely has a lot more scripts going on. Still, this is already a huge improvement and it makes me hopeful we can apply a similar patch to Re-Pac 2.
