Basics

1) Progression tracking based achievements have to be done in one playthrough. For example, if an achievement requires to «Rip 250 Cores from the enemies», you have to do all 250 on one savefile, you can't get 125 on one and 125 on another savefile. It can be grindy to get some of the achievements because of this.

2) Mind your upgrades. It is impossible to get all of them in one playthrough, and some are significally better than other. I reccommend getting upgrade that lowers core cooldown from 30 sec to 15 sec as soon as possible.

3) Last achievement seems to be broken. I've got 25/26 achievements, seems like it has to be patched.

Let's do this! - Complete the Prologue

Complete level 0

KILL BOSS! - Kill Spiderbot

Spiderbot looks tanky, especially for the start of the game when you don't have a lot of options for breaking it's shield. Don't bother with power punches, use your plasmagun (EZN-5) and shotgun's alternative fire (TAS-9 FLAK). Don't forget to kill fodder enemies as spiderbot might use them to replenish it's armor

Story related

Impulse 101 - Acquire all weapons

You will get it after picking up 7th gun - STRIGA HS-V

KILL BOSS!! - Kill Overseer

ZENIT SMG's primary fire is great against this boss.

Alternative mods are not that useful against bosses but I still recommend buying at least first grade because it will upgrade gun's magazine capacity.

The Beekeeper - Kill three Judges

These guys:

KILL BOSS!!! - Kill Nexus

Again, use ZENIT SMG. This boss has weak points however. Be haste after boss teleports you, especially on second teleport

METAL EDEN: Completed - Complete the game on Easy or Normal

You will get this after the credits even if you complete the game on Hard or Brutal difficulty

METAL EDEN: Hard - Complete the game on Hard

You can skip this one

METAL EDEN: Brutal - Complete the game on Brutal

I suggest completing the game on normal first as you will learn the ropes for a second playthrough on Brutal. After completing the game on Brutal you will get both achievements for completing on Brutal and Hard.

Grindy ones

Fly high - Spend 1420 seconds in the air

Not grindy to be hones. Just use your jetpack by holding jump button for a few seconds.

Hoarder - Collect 100 001 Dust

Dust is METAL EDEN's currency used to by weapon upgrades, you're getting it by killing enemies and collecting red vials some of which are hidden

Dominating! - Kill 80 enemies when Overdrive is activated

I don't know if it's even possible to not get this one while playing, there are plenty of opportunities. Look for a red power up, it will increase your gun's damage and give infinite ammo.

Rip & Tear - Rip 250 Cores from the enemies

Look at the end of this section if you have troubles with this one.

Keep rollin', rollin', rollin', rollin' - Kill 100 enemies in Ramball mode

Use Ramball's primary fire (electric discharge) to destroy enemy armor and secondary fire (rockets) to kill weakened enemies.

One Punch Aśka - Kill 69 enemies with Super Punch

Use Super Punch against enemies with destroyed armor. Look at the end of this section if you have troubles with this one.

Weapons Expert - Unlock third upgrade for all weapons

Do not unlock second mod for any weapon, concentrate on the one you feel will be best for you. You can unlock everything, but it will be extremely grindy and tedious.

Consumer - Consume 200 Cores

Press E key again after ripping a core. Look at the end of this section if you have troubles with this one.

Traveler - Travel 200 000 meters on zip lines

Probably the grindiest one in the game. Look at the end of this section if you have troubles with this one.

What a mess! - Kill at least 3 enemies with a single blow 50 times

Getting 3 enemies in one place can be tricky. But you can use grenade launcher's alternative mod (RM3 STX) to place 3 sticky grenades on 3 enemies without armor and then detonate it. It's that simple, repeat 50 times.

So as I said earlier, progress on these achievements is not shared across playthroughs. But there is one simple trick. You can use infinite enemy spawns on arenas that require you to capture certain points.

I prefer this one.

This arena has a lot of verticality, pretty convenient core cooldown power up, relatively weak enemies, some of them don't even have armor. Great for grinding «Rip & Tear», «One Punch Aśka», «Consumer», «What a mess», collecting a lot of dust. It even has a zip line, just ride on it back and forth to get «Traveler» achievement.

Git Gud ones

Live Long - Finish a mission with 5 One Ups

Collect power ups that look like glowing helmets. Usually they are hidden in secret areas, so snoop around.

I don't need it - Complete 15 encounters without collecting any placed pickups

Encounters are arenas with waves of enemies. You need to complete 15 of those without picking up ammo, health, etc. To replenish your resources without pickups consume cores if you need health, throw them away to get ammo.

God Mode - Complete a mission without respawning

Just don't die. As far as I know, you can use One Ups. When your health reaches 0, you will consume one of those. Once you have no One Ups you will die and achievement will be blocked for that mission.

Untouchable - Complete 10 encounters without taking any damage

Hardest one in the entire game. I suggest starting a game for the 3rd time on lowest difficulty, so enemies will be less aggressive and it will be easier to avoid their attacks. Restart encounters over and over again if you take any damage.
