Now some of you might be thinking,
"Wow! I bought a really sick headset with High Quality Audio! I spent around $450 for these babies! maybe even $300 if i got it for a really nice sale! Hmm! I heard Hell Divers. 2. was pretty fun my man. time to launch the game.

Oh? The audio is absolute dogs**t? no in game settings for it? I'll look online!
lets see here... Devices and Printers... Right click my headphones... Properties, Services, HandsFree telephony Off, Oh joyous me! that seems like it'll fix my issue proper!

Oh? Now your saying i have no audio? huh. Lets keep looks online shall we? :)
alright i see here go to Services, find Bluetooth Audio GateWay Services... Stop the service? ok :3

Oh? Now your telling me I still have no audio? that still didnt fix it? hmm."

And i perfectly understand you almost throwing your very expensive headset that you may or may not have worked hard to obtain but trust me i have a third fix and it definitely worked for my Momentum 4 Sennheisers so ill lay this stupid s**t out nice and slow
The Fix
windows sound settings.
scroll down to more sound settings.
Now click that non-deodorant using Recording Tab.
Now right click your useless a** headphones.
Now Properties.
Again, Properties.
Click on Change settings on the bottom LEFT corner.
dude, now go to the DRIVER TABLOID.
Disable that b****.
now restart your really cool computer and launch Helldivers 2 congratumalations you're now considered part of the control group i take donations with open arms thank you

Fixed it yesterday, but way easier variant. I'm on Win11. Go to Device Manager - Audio inputs and Outputs - Find your headphone's name with "hands-free" near it and disable it. Next, go to "Sound, video and game controllers" in the same Device Manager. Do Step 1 again. Restart your game. You're welcome!

@spetznatz1 reinstall the drivers associated with ur headphones to go back to drawing board, then either try again and make sure you dont touch anything else that doesnt deal with bluetooth

I used this Guide but it only further ruined my audio and I cant seem to revert it
( Re-Enabling the headphones )

Yes this one really helped much. Althought it turns off your mic and you need to turn it back every time when you need it, but I don't know another solution
