This guide will be short and sweet so as to get to the point.


















Press HOME or your portrait circled in red to get the camera to go back to your location. This is immediate and will center the camera atop of your ship host. Good for getting back if your host ship/structure is under attack.


Center around groups.

If you have group 1, press 1 twice to zoom to it. However, if they're at multiple sectors, in the midst of transitioning across a wormhole, then it'll look for the largest ship to center atop of. Because of this, it may not always cover ALL the ships especially when the group is separated.


If you have a fleet, say, Fleet 2 - the shortcut for selecting it will be F2. If you press F2 again, then it'll center atop of the flagship of the fleet. If the fleet commander is travelling via a shuttle, the camera will go to the shuttle instead.


Change sectors via the Global Strategic Map.

STEP 1:

Open the strategic map using the RIGHT ANGLED BRACKET key or pressing on this button:





STEP 2:

Hover your mouse over the sector of your choice.
The circles in red are for illustration purposes only; not actual in-game graphics.











STEP 3:

Double-click on it to go into it.

Note: The sector must already been discovered prior. Otherwise it won't work.

Pick a wormhole and double-click on it or click on the "Go To" button. This is by far the slowest and should only be used if you intend to only go to the neighbouring sector.
