OVERVIEW      |      BRIEF INFORMATION
    The guide is compiled and designed for the convenience of Steam users who want to get all achievements
    and 100% in the game. It is worth noting that some of the useful information was borrowed from the game
    portal called PowerPyx[www.powerpyx.com] and other various sources, after which it was edited and finalized
                                              > Recommendation <
      You won’t have a choice of difficulty for your first playthrough. During this playthrough follow guide to find all the collectibles. There are various combat-related trophies that you can work towards while playing, but these can easily be done on New Game+ with upgraded weapons. It is recommended that you prioritize upgrading the inventory space, as the initial inventory is very limited and you’d find yourself regularly skipping items or backtracking to collect everything.
                                                        > Essences <
        Throughout the game you will get Essences, both as a part of the story and as optional collectibles from Fallen Travelers. There are several trophies tied to either having specific Essences on you at once, or finishing the game with them in your Phylactery (Essence Storage). For Togetherness, you will need Lidia Marzec, Marcel Marzec and Krzysztof Marzec all in your Phylactery simultaneously, so always choose to permanently delete other Essences until you get all three. These are also pointed out in the Collectible so you don’t need to remember them.
                                                           > Endings <
          At the end of the game, you will have two choices to make. The first option will give you Ending A while the second option will give you Ending B. Choose whichever, then reload your latest save and choose the other ending.
                                                  > Recommendation <
          After finishing the game, you will unlock both New Game+ and Hard difficulty. Hard difficulty increases enemy health and damage, as well as removes most of the autosave checkpoints. However, this won’t pose an issue at all, as with upgraded weapons and gear this will be easier than the first playthrough. On New Game+, you will carry over all your weapons, ammo, upgrades and energy, but lose any healing items, key items or cores in your stash. You will also be able to buy an Arbalest Bolts blueprint, allowing you to use the most powerful weapon far more frequently.
                                                            > Essences <
            For this playthrough, you will want to ignore all optional essences from Fallen Travelers and only get the story-related ones for The Orthodox. The Essences you will want to finish this playthrough with are: Edward Wisniewski | Artur Baryka | Dawid Zybert
                                                               > Endings <
              At the end of the game, you will have a third choice you can make. Choose this and you will get Ending C.

          Throughout the game you will get Essences, both as a part of the story and as optional collectibles from Fallen Travelers (for more information, see the "Collectibles" section).

          You do not need to finish the game with these in your phylactery, you simply must have them all at one time — make sure to never overwrite these essences until you have all 3.

          You will need to complete the game with only the story-related Essences that you are tasked to acquire:
          • Edward Wisniewski
            Inside the Bunker, automatically acquired after the cutscene.
          • Artur Baryka
            At the end of the Steelworks, you will have a cutscene where you can choose to extract the Essence from either Artur Baryka or Gabriel Baryka. You will want to harvest Artur, which is the first option when you need to decide: No, I came for you.
              Do not let the decision time out, as if it does you will be forced to extract Gabriel instead.

              At the end of the Hospital, automatically acquired after the cutscene. If you have three Essences on you already (if you extracted either of the first two Fallen Travelers), you will be able to overwrite one with this.
            Standard playthrough

            Hard Mode is unlocked after completing the game once. This will increase enemy health and damage, as well as remove most of the autosave checkpoints throughout the game.
              You will carry over all your weapons, ammo, upgrades and energy, but lose any healing items, key items or cores in your stash. You will also be able to buy an Arbalest Bolts blueprint, allowing you to use the most powerful weapon far more frequently.
                At the end of the game after the fight with the Pathfinder, you will have a new choice that you can select: Begin anew, to unlock third ending (C: save both Weronikas).

                ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ    TO PAVE THE PATH
                There are 9 types of items that can be fabricated, but for the purpose of this trophy you will only need to fabricate 8 of them. Items can be fabricated with either chemicals, metal scraps, or both. These are found commonly throughout the game. In order to unlock the blueprint for an item type, you must first obtain the item regularly, which will occur naturally as long as you explore.
                • Handgun Ammo – 3x chemicals
                • Shotgun Shells – 2x chemicals + 3x metal scraps
                • Carbine Cartridge – 2x chemicals + 3x metal scraps
                • Torch Fuel – 3x metal scraps
                • Pyre – 3x metal scraps
                • Shell Patch (Small) – 2x chemicals
                • Shell Patch (Medium) – 3x chemicals
                • Shell Patch (Large) – 3x chemicals + 2x metal scraps
                Although not needed for the trophy, you can also unlock a blueprint for Arbalest Bolts by buying it from the store on New Game+ for 400 Energy.

                ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ    THE PRAETORIAN
                There are 7 weapons in the game, and they are all upgraded using Energy. If you were to fully upgrade all 7 weapons simultaneously it would cost 479,600 Energy, which would take 3-4 playthroughs to acquire, but fortunately this is not necessary.
                  As long as you fully upgrade a weapon it will count towards the trophy, so you can simply save when you have enough Energy, upgrade a weapon, then reload. By the time you have all 7 weapons, you will have enough Energy to fully upgrade them all, assuming you’ve been looting everything. You can reset the upgrades for a weapon at a cost of 1,000 Energy, + 500 for every time you do it, so don’t be afraid to upgrade weapons as you use them.
                    If you want to get more Energy, then Lidia Marzec’s Essence is very good, as it provides +10% Energy for everything, including sold valuables.

                    Your Temporal Shell can be upgraded by using Cores, which can be found scattered throughout the game, usually in dispensers or as rewards for petting cats. In order to fully upgrade your Temporal Shell, you will need 36 Cores. There are 37 Cores in the game, but in the event you miss any you can get them again during New Game+.
                    • Suit Integrity – 1 + 2 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 14 Cores

                    This does not unlock on Version 1.04!
                    Biomass are walls of flesh that can be burned. You will first find Pyres in the Steelworks, which are throwable proximity mines. Find a biomass wall and throw a Pyre at it, then shoot the Pyre to explode it.


                    ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ         ㅤFIRE. SPREADING.
                    The Torch is a flamethrower you can use by pressing <...> while having Torch Fuel. This will create a circle of fire around you. There are several spots in the game where you can get enough enemies for this, but the best location is during the Eliza boss fight in the Abbey. Many headless Orphans will spawn throughout this, making it easy to accomplish.


                    ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ        EFFICIENCY DISCIPLINE
                    The Sword is the starting pistol. It has a charge ability by holding down <...> , which will deal more damage and penetrate enemies. Once you start upgrading the firepower, a single charged shot will instantly kill headless Orphans. You will regularly encounter these in packs, so line up two of them and shoot them with a charged shot.


                    ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤTHE ANVIL OF THE COLLECTIVE
                    The Hammer is the first shotgun that you acquire. As it is a shotgun, it will have a large blast radius. The best enemy to do this on are headless Orphans, as they are very weak. There are several spots in the game where you can get enough enemies for this, but the best location is during the Eliza boss fight in the Abbey. Many headless Orphans will spawn throughout this, making it easy to accomplish.


                    ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤTHE ANNIHILIATOR
                    The Arbalest is an explosive weapon found in the Toy Store in Station B. Ammo for this weapon cannot be bought at all, and can only be fabricated in New Game+, so it’s best to save ammo until you have this. There are several spots in the game where you can get enough enemies for this, but the best location is during the Eliza boss fight in the Abbey. Many headless Orphans will spawn throughout this, making it easy to accomplish.


                    ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤDONT LET THEM MERGE
                    One of the big features of Orphans is that they like to merge with dead Orphans to absorb their abilities. To avoid this, you can burn their corpses with Torches, Pyres or Flammable Barrels. Simply burn dead Orphans you find and you will get this naturally. You can take advantage of Torch Fuel dispensers to burn any corpses and obtain more Torch Fuels.


                    ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ       ㅤRAGING BULL
                    You can perform a punch melee with <...> or stomp melee with <...>. These attacks are quite weak, so it is best to do this on either a headless or wall Orphan.


                    ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ         ㅤ        BETTER THAN ONE
                    Most enemies will be weak to headshots, so always aim for the head unless they are protected. You can enable aim assist in the settings if you are having difficulty with this, or upgrade stability on your weapons.

                    You will usually see them running away leading you towards where they can be found, and they will meow when close making them easier to find. Petting a cat will reward you with an item, usually a core or a key item.

                    Once you are outside, progress until you drop down into a cave-like area. You will get a tutorial for burning Orphans in a room with a Torch Fuel dispenser. Instead of going left here, turn right and there’ll be a hole you can crawl through. There will be a core in a dispenser in this area.

                    You will shift multiple Time Oddities outside and climb down to where you fight some Orphans near explosive barrels. After these, head left in the open area to find this on some packages.

                    After ascending with a Time Oddity, you will enter another utility room. This weapon will be on a desk in here.

                    After dealing with an ambush with a group of Orphans, go through the door on the left instead of the large open door. In the back room you will find a Camera on a table.

                    HEAD FOR THE DIVE POINT

                    Progress through the area until you arrive at a Time Oddity you can use to raise a bridge back to the starting area. After dealing with the Orphans here, ignore the main building and head west to find a locker you can move. Move it and you will find this Comic Book inside on a bench.

                    Enter Apartment Block 34 and there will be a utility room immediately to your right before you go up the stairs. This core will be in a dispenser.

                    After ascending the stairs a few times, shifting Time Oddities and burning Biomass, you will enter a corridor with Apartment 28 on your left. Head inside and let all the yellow bulbs explode and you will find this in the back room.

                    After getting the bolt cutters in the Hardware Store, return through the courtyard to where you first entered this area and there will be a door with a chain on it. Cut it open and you will find Mela inside. The cat will leave you a Traveler’s Seal Key, which you can use on the door in the utility room in Apartment Block 34.

                    Return towards the Apartment Block and enter the open room to the left of the entrance. Use the bolt cutters on the back door and you will find a Camera inside.

                    After getting the key from the basement, as you leave you will spot a cat running towards the playground next to the Hardware Store. Follow it there and pet it, and it will leave you a Core.

                          Once in the Abbey courtyard, go left and enter the Religious Goods store. Move the metal object and shimmy through the wall, then unlock the door on your right. You can now connect the power from the utility room through to this room and unlock the doors here. Once you unlock it, go inside the room to find the Core in a dispenser. You will also find the Cemetery Key here.

                              Before heading deeper into the cemetery, return back to the courtyard and use the key you just got to open Father Wojciech’s Office, which is next to the Religious Goods store. Inside will be a key to the Belltower. Head up the Belltower (next to the utility room), and you will find this weapon.

                                  Once you enter the catacombs, you will move a metal object to further access the tunnels. Immediately past it, look left to spot a boarded-up door. Shoot the boards, then continue around the corner to find a door covered in biomass. Burn the biomass with a Torch or Pyre, then enter the two doors to find this on a crate in the corner.

                                                      Just got all the achievements, yay! I was missing 3 travel logs (Tempus Fugit, Tempus Fugit and Trial After Trial.) and the last fallen traveler.

                                                      To get The Pyromaniac, you need to shoot mine right into flesh that blocks the way. Then shoot that mine from any weapon. Just got the achievement near Abbey entrance (tent nearby)

                                                      You may get all essences from the fallen travelers in 1 playthrough, just make manual save before them, rewrite one of the main ones and load, that be counted, and then just get the endind with all the main essences in the end
