a relatively easier way to get the egg while having the shadow mantle was added!! you no longer have to get the egg before the shadow mantle with this new method!

some notes before we begin .. !! make sure you have a decent amount of points, and the shadow mantle! if you already did the prize machine easter egg and don't have access to the prize machine anymore, this guide will not work for you, as it is a key element of getting the egg.

this guide here helped me with a lot of phrasing for this! i heavily recommend if you are playing without the shadow mantle and just want to find the egg room how you usually do ^_^

STEP ONE - GO TO NOWHERE

After obtaining the shadow mantle, head down into the section below the green room and go right, then down. You should be in the the purple bridge rooms now, go down and right again. Now you should see Shuttah, go down past them to enter the room with the spotlight and the chest!


Now, run into the spotlight to get caught by Zapper! Answer their questions with "Cheater" and "Nowhere" and they will take you to a new room!

STEP TWO - BIBLIOX AND PRIZE MACHINE

Since the games are now disabled, you will need to talk to the Bibliox at the last room. Once you're done, they mention that the ticket is under the prize machine, so you will need to head back into the green room (talk to the Zapper to get back!)



Now that you're back at the green room, go to the B rank room to the prize machine. Insert exactly 1225 points into the prize machine and enter the machine!

important: after inserting 1225 points, the prize machine will not be available for use after. if theres any prizes you want from the machine, get them before you do this.


dont have enough points ? enter the S rank room and you can turn your dark dollars into points with the vending machine !

STEP 3 - TICKET + EGG ROOM

Now that you've entered the machine, you have to locate a smaller blue prize machine. You can find this easily by going down/up and to the right !


When you get teleported back to the B rank room, the ticket will be a sparkling item on the ground. After interacting with it, it should appear in your key items!


Once you've completed this step, the path to getting into the egg room is the same as normal !

Go back to the room under the green room, then go to the rainbow door and travel to Goulden Sam. When there, go to the right and enter the room with the trash cans!



Enter the Ribbicks battle, go to the act menu and hover over the "CroakOnX" action. Use your left movement key to "escape" the battle! You should now be in the secret room!




When you are talking to the forgotten man, it is best to answer the questions with these responses: No, No, Yes, Yes, Yes
