Introduction
At the time of writing this, it is September 1st, 2025. There is no English text achievement guide on Steam and I've just started playing Darksiders III. Since there is no guide, I've decided to make one as I play through the game.
I hope this guide will be helpful for anyone who comes after me.
All my guides are broken down by category such as Story, Combat, Collectibles, etc.
All achievement spelling and capitalization is exactly as shown in the Steam achievements.
Story & Difficulty Achievements
Darksider III has a few achievements based on difficulty listed below. Obviously, if you don't play on at least the stated difficulty, they are missable. Armageddon is, unfortunately, only an option on New Game +.

Protector of Humanity
Complete the Game on Any Difficulty Setting.

Path of the Horseman
Complete the Game on NORMAL.
For some reason, the actual difficulty is called Challenging.

Death Incarnate
Complete the Game on APOCALYPTIC.

Proceed on your way to Armageddon
Complete the game on Armageddon mode.
This is a New Game + mode. It is separate from difficulty, so you can complete this play through on Story difficulty if you wish.

The following achievements are all story progression and unmissable as long as you don't quit. After getting confused on how I got Salvation before killing Sloth, it seems the game is less linear than I thought. Therefore, these are in the order that the achievements page shows them.

Green with Envy
Defeat Envy.

Helping Hand
Save a Human.

Fight Fire with Fire
Collect the Flame Hollow.

All That Glitters
Defeat Avarice.

Perfect Storm
Collect the Storm Hollow.

Throne Potato
Defeat Sloth.

Salvation
Collect Salvation.

Delusions of Grandeur
Defeat Lust.

I Wanna Rock
Collect the Force Hollow.

Love Tap
Defeat the Kraken.

Eat Your Heart Out
Defeat Gluttony.

Freeze Frame
Collect the Stasis Hollow.

Seeing Red
Defeat Wrath.

Egomaniac
Defeat Pride.

Everybody Wants to Rule the World
Defeat the Final Sin.
! Missable !
These are missable if not completed before a designated point or if you make the wrong choice.

For Whom the Bell Tolls
Kill Lust Without Defeating Usiel.
Rather self-explanatory but just watch your aim and Arcane Counters. Try to separate them and focus on Lust. She blocks way more once Usiel is present.

Demon Meddler
Meet Abraxis
When you receive the Flame Hollow, you will also be asked to deal with Abraxis. Much later as you progress near the Drilling Annex Serpent Hole you will open a gate. This gate leads to a whirlwind and Force Wall. The Whirlwind leads to an elevator. Once you speak to Abraxis, You must fight him for the next achievement.

A Parting Gift
Receive the Lord of the Hollows' Final Gift.
After ending Abraxis, travel to and speak with the Lord of Hollows. You must Spare the Lord. Both of these achievements must be completed before the Pride fight.

BFA
Unlock Everything.
This is you standard 100% achievements achievement. It seems this achievements unlocks when you get to 49/64. I assume this is because it bases completion on the original number of 50 achievements before DLC. Armageddon (NG+) mode was a free DLC with 3, The Crucible has 6 and Keepers of the Void has 5. Additionally, it may just be flat out bugged, I've seen forums saying so.
Attributes & Equipment Upgrades
Improvements to Fury's attributes come from points you earn by feeding blue soul currency to Vulgrim. You lose these souls upon death and must reclaim them. They also act as currency for consumables and upgrades.

First of many...
Spend an Attribute Point.

25 to Life
Spend 25 Attribute Points.

Big Spender
Spend 50 Attribute Points.
Feed Vulgrim to level up.

Keep it 100!
Reach level 100.
Save as many Luminous Visages as you can since the soul requirement goes up every level you get from Vulgrim. There are 16 Visages per NG. Be sure to have armor that increases Lurchers gained from crystals equiped. Finally, it seems there is a bug where this achievements will not active if you use a Visage to reach 100. So 99 then Vulgrim to 100.

The Nephilim's Respite is your rechargeable healing item and can be upgraded in two ways.

Increased Vigor
Upgrade Nephilim's Respite Healing Amount.

Maximum Vigor
Upgrade Nephilim's Respite Healing Amount 4 Times.
There are 6 Rejuvenation Cores for this upgrade.
  • Buy from Vulgrim for 5,000 souls.
  • Splintered Station, arena where you fight a large beetle mini-boss before Wrath.
  • Festering Pool, Climb the Manske to the second floor of the warehouse, on the balcony to the left.
  • Tangled Grotto, turn right from facing Vulgrim and stick to the left wall as you go forward and around to the left. Across the room, next to the downtown sign surrounded by eggs.
  • Forgotton Lake, Use the Force Hollow to sink down and to the left of the lake, cross thru an archway then swim up to a purple wall on the upper level. Continue up, pushing the pillar to a red eye and some other skeletons.
  • Drilling Annex, proceed thru the area for quite a while until you can shut down the drill. Proceed past the shut down drill on the upper level to an open area. Overlooking the chasm is a wooden platform.
Increased Capacity
Upgrade Nephilim's Respite Capacity.

Maximum Capacity
Upgrade Nephilim's Respite Capacity 4 Times.
There are 4 Invigoration Cores for this upgrade
  • Antechamber, In front of a nearby statue.
  • Hulking Carcass, fight through the enemies, behind the tree on the ground by the red eye warrior.
  • Sunken Tracks, place your back to Vulgrim, go thru the left doors on the opposite wall of the room where the subway car is. Opposite wall past the larger bugs.
  • Drilling Annex, rotate the pillar as needed to get to and lower the elevator. Fight thru the enemies to your left. Left of the first covered area is a whip swing to a Force wall. Roll along the wall and check the upper level.
Ulthane at the Maker's Forge can upgrade Weapons & Enhancements.

Just the start
Upgrade Any Weapon.

Take it to the Limit
Upgrade Any Weapon to Max level.
Weapons use Adamantine to level up. Slivers, Fragments, and Pieces are infinite. Adamantine Chunks are limited to 3 per play through so you can't max all weapons.

Enhance!
Upgrade an Enhancement.

Can you restore the Balance?
Upgrade an Enhancement to Balanced.
Balanced is the final rightside node on the Enhancement upgrades.
It requires 12 of both Angelic and Demonic Artifacts, and a limited Essence of a Chosen that drop from 5 specific mini-bosses.

Balanced in all things
Upgrade 5 Enhancements to Balanced.
As above, 12 of both Angelic and Demonic Artifacts and an Essence of a Chosen. The bosses are listed below in the Loot section.

Made of Sterner Stuff
Upgrade Any Armor.
During Armageddon mode (NG+), red eye enemies will drop Oblivion Ore that can upgrade armor.
Collectibles, Loot & Upgrade Materials
I decided to lump all three of these topics together since all of them are found as your explore the game. Many will come naturally as you play but I will make note of those that require some extra attention.

Humans are the only real collectible. There are twenty in total and the first one is automatic as your progress. The rest are hidden. The list below is in order of what I found them in.

Five's a Crowd
Save 5 Humans.

Crowd Source
Save 10 Humans.

Community Outreach
Save 15 Humans.

Humanitarian
Save 20 Humans.
There are 6 in Haven, 5 in Nether, 4 in Bonelands, 4 in Depths, 2 in Scar.
  • Automatic story progress
  • Splintered Station, A crawlspace next to a red-eye enemy past the bomb bug.
  • Maker's Forge, proceed inside and up the wooden walkways to a whip swing. Burn the webs and swing between the roots. Climb the building.
  • North End, thru the demon camp, blow up the purple wall with a bug.
  • North End, thru the demon camp, drop off the far side to a crawl space.
  • Festering Pool, thru the two-story warehouse to the bomb bug. Over the shipping containers.
  • Mangled Freeway, thru the crawlspace to the left.
  • Cargo Hold, follow the Force walls in Lust's arena till you can Storm Glide across the poison. Proceed thru the area till you knock down a Manske. Push it toward the roof, climb up.
  • Tangled Grotto, turn right from facing Vulgrim and stick to the left wall as you go forward and around to the left. Stick left and climb the train to a crawlspace.
  • Tangled Grotto, turn right from facing Vulgrim and stick right thru the open area. Up the stairs and Flame Jump to a crawlspace. Stick right till you drop to an open area with a hole in the ground. Next to that is a drop off that continues on a ways.
  • Tangled Grotto, from the hole and drop off above, put your back to the hole in the ground and veer left to a blue tunnel, taking the right wing of it to a green area with a Flame Jump.
  • Forgotton Lake, open the sword gate across the lake, drop thru the crypt to a pair of pillars that need to be moved. Flame Jump three times to the other side of a wall.
  • Sunken Tracks, Stasis Jump up the wall. Turn around and whip swing to a Force Ball Roll. Break the purple rocks on the other side.
  • Crossroads, up the hill past the face pillars and shrine to where the 4-arm gorilla demon is. Break the purple wall.
  • Drilling Annex, rotate the pillar with Force so you can Stasis Jump up the wall. Stasis Jump again, kill the two beetles and jump over the short barricade.
  • Chasm Overlook, drop down to the lower level. Stasis the grinders and drop underneath them.
  • Maker's Forge, head forward down the tree to the first building. Storm glide across the gap, proceed thru the area to a series of whirlwinds that take your to another building.
  • Drowned District, enter the sewer pipe, proceed thru the cave and warehouse. Head left once you are back outside by the poison ocean. Burn the web to drop a whip swing. Between the two swing points is an alcove with some webbing. Burn it then try to land there, Storm glide helps.
  • Sewage Egress, climb the Stasis wall, about face to a blocked doorway.
  • Cistern, up the stairs. If like me you are missing the Cistern Serpent Hole, go to Splintered Station. Go forward and around the right to where the standard four legged demons are. Burn the web, up the hill to a crawlspace. This is the intended path to Sloth I think. Proceed thru, dive underwater thru a pipe, swing across to a switch to open the gates.
Unshakable Fortitude
Collect 30 Slivers of Adamantine.
First tier of weapon upgrades found in the world, sold by Vulgrim, and dropped by enemies.

Unyielding Strength

Third tier of Weapon upgrades.

Purity of Power
Collect 3 Chunks of Adamantine.

  • North End, face away from Vulgrim and go left toward the demon camp. Turn left down the road that ends in a cliff. On the right side is a tree root you can ramp up. At the top, face left and Flame Jump to a whip swing. On this second root there is a pair of Flame Jump - Whip swings left of the building. You should land on a balcony, about face for another Flame Jump - Whip swing. Follow this balcony around inside thru a purple wall. Past the bugs down stairs.
  • Cargo Ship, face away from Vulgrim and the crane. Head back to where the Kraken was, turning right. Pass the hole to where you can Storm Glide over the poison. Proceed thru the area to a Stasis Jump and a Force wall.

Soul Harvester
Collect 100,000 Souls

Soul Reaper
Collect 1,000,000 Souls.
The total number of blue souls you've gathered over one play through. Apparently when you die and reclaim those souls, they count again. So if you amass a large quantity all at once you could die, gather and repeat.
Combat
This first one is basically a guarantee as you work toward 100% but the second will require focused grinding.

Devil's in the Details
Kill 666 Enemies.

Beast Mode
Defeat 666 Enemies While in Havoc Form.
Stock up on Havoc Shards and find a good grind spot with multiple enemies. In my opinion, Havoc Form has always kind of sucked in the Darksiders games but you got to do it. The multi-level garage near the West End fast travel has been recommended at about 45 kills per reset.
The Crucible DLC
Available after defeating Avarice and talking to Vulgrim. A wave-based arena as seen in the other games of the series.
Wicked K the "secret" 101st wave is locked until you have defeated Wrath for real.

My Evil Twin
Meet Targon.
The Crucible's fight coordinator, you can't miss this if you attempt the fights.

Impressive!
Defeat Gor.
Wave 25 boss.

Incredible!
Defeat Sherhaal.
Wave 50 boss.

Amazing!
Defeat Rastion.
Wave 75 boss.

Apocalyptic!
Defeat Urul.
Wave 100 boss.

Quite Proper
Defeat Wicked K.
Wave 101 boss. Wicked Killington will only fight you if you clear all 100 waves in one shot and only after Wrath has been defeated the second time.
Keepers Of The Void DLC
Available after acquiring the Flame Hollow and speaking to Vulgrim. Each section of the dungeon requires the associated hollow to complete. The wings consist of some puzzles and a boss.

Keeper of the Bonfire
Finish Flame Wing.

Keeper of the Sky
Finish Storm Wing.

Keeper of the Vale
Finish Force Wing.

Keeper of the Tempo
Finish Stasis Wing.

Keeper of Colossal Automata
Defeat Void Defender Construct.
After clearing the four wings, this is the DLC final boss and has the abilities of the four wing bosses.
