1. Dark Tongue I
Locate all of the runes left by a band of Beastmen


There are a total of 10 beastmen runes in the map, 1st and 2nd being in the Encampment area, before dropping down to the ambush event, 3rd, 4th and 5th in the following area after the ambush event. The 6th and 7th are in the next drop-off area, where you can see the vortex and the damage the meteor has done. The 8th being in the area where you cross the chasm via crossing the fallen tree. After dropping down, in where you have to jump over a small gap to continue into the destroyed forest, the 9th rune is down in the gap and the last rune is in the burned forest. Rune is on a rock face next to the chasm at the bottom of the gap you have to jump to get into the destroyed forest

Rune is on the face of a big rock in the right side of the zone

2. Dark Tongue II
Locate and enter the Beastmen lair


Please note that the first part together with the second and third cannot be completed together; they will require separate playthroughs.
Quite simple if you know the location of the specific runes you have to find. The runes in order you have to find are the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th and 8th rune. If you did it right, you should hear a sound, signalling that you have to backtrack to the cave where the second Tome is located.

After activating the 8th Rune, make one jump here to go back.



There, you have to go to the boulder at the other end of the cave and push it out of the way.
When you enter what the boulder was blocking, you should get the challenge completed.

3. Dark Tongue III
Recover the Beastmen spoils


When you follow DARK TONGUE II challenge, when you're in the beastmen lair, there should be a Key that opens the chest at the end of the level. When you find the key, continue through the Mission like normal until you jump down the final drop-off point before the finale event. The locked chest should be in the cave entrance with a painting scrap in it. Picking up the painting scrap should complete the challenge. Also in this chest are two guaranteed bombs.
