「」Medical
First Responder:
Revive one co-op player



Medic:
Revive 10 co-op players



When playing in a lobby, and the another player has taken enough damage instead of dying, they "Go Down". (A skull will pop up next to their name on your HUD to confirm this)
Walking over to them and holding the "Revive Button" (E on keyboard) will "Get them up" and net you these achievements.

Crafty:
Craft all items



There are 26 total needed for the achievement. See the following Link [theforest.fandom.com] to see all the craftable items in the game.

There are more than 26 items and it's not clear which ones actually count towards the achievement.


Naturopath:
Craft 10 medicine items



A Very Useful Crafting Recipe Is:
1 Marigold + 1 Aloe Vera = 1 Herbal Medicine
Just craft this 10 times and boom, also this makes a health mix that heals you pretty good.


Unseen:
Make and wear stealth armor



Find and kill a large lizard. skin it for the lizard skin, then go to your crafting menu.
Lizard Skin + Leaves = Stealth Armor
「」Hunting
Birdseye:
Kill bird with arrow



Easiest way to complete this is with a bow which you can craft with a stick, rope, and cloth. Arrows can be made with feathers and sticks and feathers, birds seem to be common animals. Build a bird house, birds will always land and you can get an easy shot on the bird. Leaving cannibal corpses is also viable method of attracting birds.


Trophy Hunter:
Kill all animal types and display heads



Build a head trophy from the decoration tab in your book with one stick, you can place it on the wall of your house, do it eleven times. After harvesting meat and skin from the animal you can then pick up it's head, you need to carry it in your hands all the way to your base, and hold E on the display to put it up there.
  • Deer:
    Commonly found in woodlands especially areas with lots of trees, you should no issues finding a deer. If you want a specific location to find deer, try Goose Lake.

  • Rabbit:
    Common in woodlands, difficult to kill though. I recommend using the crafted bow or the slingshot and slow walking as close as you can up to them before shooting.

  • Lizard:
    Uncommon in woodlands and common in shorelines, if you take a trip down the beach or near a river you should encounter them pretty easily.

  • Crocodile:
    Rare in lake areas

  • Raccoon:
    Uncommon/Rare, found in woodland areas running around, they have a distinct noise so keep your ears out for that.

  • Boar:
    Uncommon, found exclusively in the northern snowy region.

  • Seagull:
    Uncommon in shorelines, make your way down to the beach and you should see a seagull sooner or later.

  • Shark:
    Exclusively found on the beach region. NOTE: KILLING A LIVE SHARK WONT GIVE YOU A SHARK HEAD - for whatever reason when animals get submerged underwater after death it doesn't allow your character to loot the animal, even if you drag the carcass out of the water it still won't allow you to take a head. The way the game wants you to get the shark head is to decapitate the already dead sharks found on the shoreline.

  • Tortoise:
    To be completely honest I'm unsure of the preferred spawn locations of Tortoises however there are specific types of turtles that only spawn on the beach, you can either kill regular tortoises or beach tortoise to get the same head trophy.

  • Squirrel:
    Uncommon in woodlands and pretty much anywhere. I even encountered squirrels in the snowy region, however you will most likely encounter them in woodlands along with the deer... and possibly cannibals.

  • Goose:
    By far the most annoying animal trophy to obtain, they spawn in geese lake. However there's a catch, they are in the water, and if anything dies in the water, you can't interact with it. So you need to build a foundation stretching across the lake.Depending where you put the foundation you'll either have to shoot the geese out of the air and have them land on the foundation. Or if you happen to build the foundation where the geese swim you can just spear them and the body will glitch to the top of the foundation.

NOTE: Make sure you bring the animal head to your base and make the trophy asap as animal heads can despawn pretty quickly!


Bite me!:
Kill shark. Alone in Single Player or together in Multiplayer



There is a shark (Among other places) circling the yacht. Bring dynamite and go fishing, teach that shark a lesson he will not forget.


Fisherman:
Catch fish with a trap. Alone in Single Player or together in Multiplayer



Build A fish trap and place it in a body of water with fish. Leave it alone for awhile, try going to sleep to pass time!


Commercial Fisherman:
Kill 6 or more fish with a stick of dynamite. Alone in Single Player or together in Multiplayer



Go to a lake that is abundant with fish, I recommend geese lake. Make sure you see all the fish or you can just take a wild guess and throw the dynamite into the middle of the lake.
「」Combat
Splatter:
Killed downed enemy with rock



I'm unsure whether this achievement requires you to kill a cannibal with a regular rock or an upgraded rock. Regardless, damage a cannibal until they are laying on the ground but still breathing, finish them with rock.


Serial Killer:
In Single Player, kill 100 cannibals



The strange thing about this achievement is that you CAN earn it in multiplayer but you have to be the host of the world. Anyways, the achievement is self explanatory. If you want to speed up the process, explore all the caves or as many as you can as you're guaranteed to run into some flesh-eating friends there.


Pacifist:
In Single Player, don't kill any cannibals for more than 10 days in a row



Like the achievement above it falsely describes that it can only be achieved in single player. This isn't true as I've gotten this achievement in co-op. Either spend the 10 days in your base or start a building project to distract yourself.

First Night:
Survive 1 night




Survivalist:
Survive 5 nights




Bad father:
100 Consecutive Days Survived

Just don't die :3


Survive The Forest:
Finish Game



Any ending can be chosen.
「」Farming
Green Thumb:
Grow all plant types



The plants spawn at random an the peninsula, so you may have to run around a bit.
The plant types you need for this are as follows:
  • Aloe Vera Plant
  • Coneflower Plant
  • Blueberry Bush
You will need a "Berry Pouch" (Two rabbit skins to craft) to be able to find blueberry seeds. Build a garden plot and plant the three types of seeds, then achievement is yours!
「」Buidling
Handyman:
Repair a shelter



This achievement pops when you build a repair tool and fix either:
  • Temporary Shelter
  • Hunting Shelter
Other shelters are not counted.
Try smacking your hut once then (Make sure building destruction is turned on in the gameplay settings), then pull the repair tool out and smack it again.


You should be looking for Timmy:
Build a gazebo
(Hidden)


The gazebo can be found as a blueprint in your survival guide under the decorations tab and costs about 60 Sticks and 30 logs.
CAUTION! I Got This Achievement In A Co-Op World And We Could Not Get It To Pop For Anyone Else Except The "Host".


Longest Wall:
Build a super long wall



Open your building tab in your journal and look for "Custom Wall". Click to place a section, then drag it across the continent, I think its roughly 100 logs worth of regular wall segments in length.
You do not have to build this wall, just placing the blueprint for a "Super Long Wall" is enough to pop the achievement.
「」Wellness
5 Star Hotel:
Sleep on yacht



The yacht can be found on the South Western coast of the peninsula, in a bay.
Be careful swimming out! There is a shark the circles near the boat. It usually won't mess with you if you are just swimming from the beach to the boat, but it's deadly!
The yacht is worth the trip across the shark infested waters, plenty of supplies await you on it! Bed, Soda, Alcohol, Rope, Snacks, Etc.


Minor Cannibalism:
Eat an enemy



When you kill a cannibal you can dismember them with any sharp weapon. You can cook arms and legs, you can either dry the limbs at the drying rack or cook them over a fire. Cooking over fire will be your quickest option.


Major Cannibalism:
Eat an entire family



This achievement requires you to eat 12 arms and legs. Keep note that drying the limbs may not count towards the achievement so to be safe, cook them over a fire.


You are a fun guy:
Eat all mushroom types



There Are Six Types Of Mushrooms, And They Spawn At Random Throughout The Peninsula:
Four Are Safe To Eat
  • Puff Mushroom
    Found Around - Northern Region
  • Chanterelle Mushroom
    Found Around - Northern Region
  • Deer Mushroom
    Found Around - Woodlands Region
  • Liberty Cap Mushroom
    Found Around - Northern Region
Two Are Poisonous
  • Jack Mushroom
    Found Around - Northern Region
  • Amanita Mushroom
    Found Around - Woodlands Region


Gross!:
Drink From The Water Cooler With The Head In It
(Hidden)


Progress through the facility until you come to the pile of bodies. Go past and look out for a blue screen projection with 'hdmi' in the corner. To the left of that you should find an intractable water cooler with a human head in it, drink from it and you'll earn the achievement.


Daily Grind:
Drink a cup of coffee
(Hidden)


When you gain access to the facility and go through the vent, you'll come to a cafe room, here you will find vending machines and coffee machines you can drink from.


Big Spender:
Use The Cash You Found All Over The Island, & Buy A Soda And A Snack (Candy Bar)
(Hidden)


When you gain access to the facility and go through the vent, you'll come to a cafe room, here you will find vending machines and coffee machines you can drink from. You'll need cash for the vending machine. There are multiple locations within the endgame where you can earn this achievement.


Vegan:
Play through entire game without killing or eating animals. Alone in Single Player or together in Multiplayer



Super easy to do as your 2nd playthrough once you've unlocked Creative Mode.
Start new game in Creative Mode. You can't die. Grab the axe on the plane at the start. Don't chop down any trees to be safe, wouldn't want one to fall on a squirrel, hehe.
Beeline for Cave 6 (Lawyer's Cave) and grab the Keycard.
Jump to the bottom of the Sinkhole. (Again, no damage in Creative Mode)
Enter the Cave in the little Lake. With creative mode on you won't need the re-breather. It is a little harder to navigate without a light but it's fine.
Go through the Cave, enter the Sahara Lab, kill boss, beat game.
Whole achievement/playthrough can be done in like 30 minutes.
「」Multiplayer
Camp Out:
Sleep with another player (Group sleep)



Sleep with another player. (Using group sleep.) Build a couple of shelters, wait until night and have every player go to sleep at the same time.


Be Nice:
Share a food or drink item in MP



When you spawn into a multiplayer server, you'll actually get an item which is exclusive to co-op. If you look at your inventory you'll see you have a tin. If you combine this tin with majority of the items in the game you'll be able to hold the tin out in front of a player, and the other player will be able collect the item from your hand.


Be Extremely Nice:
Share a weapon in MP



When you spawn into a multiplayer server, you'll actually get an item which is exclusive to co-op. If you look at your inventory you'll see you have a tin. If you combine this tin with majority of the items in the game you'll be able to hold the tin out in front of a player, and the other player will be able collect the item from your hand.
「」Exploration
Spelunker:
Explore all caves



If you pull up your survival guide and go to the to do list, you'll see the caves you haven't explored in that game. I also used this [theforestmap.com] to help find where each of the caves were.
This achievement does NOT carry across multiple saves, you need to explore all the caves on one world.

Make It Rain:
Set off the sprinklers



The facility is built in with sprinklers, however only specific rooms can activate them. There's only a couple rooms I know of that have them. Activate them by shooting a flare from a flare gun at an enemy, molotov or stick on fire. If you know of anymore locations where you can set off the sprinklers do comment below.
Unfortunately I have no screenshots to attach but I have descriptions of the rooms:
  • The corridor/enclosure room where you encounter the 'surprise' armsy, if you burn the armsy it should set off the sprinklers
  • When you are going through the offices with automatic sliding doors (where you encounter the first few cannibals in the facility) set the cannibals on fire and the sprinklers should turn on


Gabe Fan:
Collect all cassette tapes!



There are 6 cassette tapes to find, these tapes are all labelled 'cassette [number]' in your inventory so don't get it confused with the other cassettes you can carry which actually have names.I used this [theforestmap.com] map to help find them.


Good Father:
Collect all robot pieces



Timmy's Toy - the robot is made up of 6 pieces, the head, the torso, arms and legs of each side.
All the pieces are found in specific parts of caves 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7.


Get Closure:
Find all missing passengers



There are 43 passengers to be found. You can find the list of them at the bottom center of your inventory, found passengers will be crossed out. Their locations can be found by just check ingame whoever you've not found yet and click the matching name on the site it will mark their location on the map. Keep in mind that seats 6B and 6A are you and your son Timmy, so they do not count towards the achievement.I had used this [theforestmap.com] to help find all the passagers.
「」Player Actions
Boy Scout:
Use the compass



Find the compass in the main camp cave. Once you go down, take the passage to the left. You will see coins on the ground near a wood cage. Follow the path toward the sound of running water. You will see a corpse in a patch of light that has snacks, the map, and the compass next to it. Pick up the compass and equip it.


Demolition Man:
Set off 20 bombs



Set off 20 bombs, made from circuit boards, tape, booze, watches, batteries, and coins. I don't know where to obtain coins or tape, but all or most of the rest can be obtained in and around the crashed airplane you start the game in or respawn in.


Choppy Chop:
Chop up 50 bodies



Chop off 50 body parts from cannibals. (Arms, legs, head.)


Demolition Expert:
Knock down 6 or more trees with 1 explosive. Alone in Single Player or together in Multiplayer



Ideally you want to use a stick of dynamite, however with the right tree placement, I'm sure you can do it with a regular bomb. Look for extremely closely bundled trees for the best chances of getting this achievement, check extremely tree abundant areas like geese lake or anywhere near the sinkhole.


Climate Change:
Cut down 100 trees



Don't Save The Forest:
Cut down 1000 trees



Getting the first 100 trees should be quite easy as you play the game. For the 1000 trees however that's when the game can get tedious.
There are a few methods to getting these but first, a couple of notes for the achievements:
  • The destroy trees developer console command won't count towards the achievements, you have to actually take the trees down by your own action.
  • These achievements DO carry across multiple saves so you don't need to stay in the same game you've created mindlessly chopping trees.
Method
This method I found to be the quickest way of getting the achievement that I've personally used, is by using dynamite. If you venture near the sinkhole there are many trees which are bundled close together. Make sure you have a bed near the trees you're destroying - Once you use all your dynamite reload the game, you don't need to save and repeat.
When you take down trees, steam already counts them so you can save and reload and keep taking down the same bundles of trees.


Step Master:
Pass 50,000 steps



The one thing this achievement doesn't specify is you have to own the pedometer and reach 50,000 steps on it. The Pedometer is located in cave 7, you don't have to hold it in your hand for it to count your steps, I recommend you to start a building project as you'll be fetching lots of materials; you'll rack up your steps quicker.
