using standard switched and wires you can only wire them in series meaning all switches need to be on for it to function (effectively functioning as an AND gate)
these setups would allow you to connect the switches to an XNOR which would mean any state change of any switch will toggle the grid on/off
you're basically creating something complex in game for minor quality of life improvements, but in theory people could potentially make working calculators or even computers in game with this method (providing it doesn't tank performance to much) people have done similar with logic in Minecraft and Scrap Mechanic
