Good evening, this is Central New Montana News at Six. We begin tonight with developments in the southern territories. The New Montana National Guard has confirmed the redeployment of several battalions to the border town of Hel, where operations are underway to establish what senate officials describe as ‘civil continuity.’

Our liaison reports that the mission will ensure the protection of roads, power facilities, and waterworks in the Hel-Wladyslawowo corridor. According to a statement issued earlier today by the Office of Public Security, both towns will be ‘brought under the New Montana defense and administration pact.’ Senate officials say this step is necessary to strengthen food supply routes and to safeguard residents from partisan disruption.

General Kettler, commanding the deployment, reassured citizens that the Guard’s presence is intended to be temporary, until a civilian oversight council can be appointed. He emphasized that residents will see familiar patrols, checkpoints, and fuel convoys arriving over the coming days, and that ‘law-abiding citizens should expect no interruption in daily life.’

While there have been worrying reports of heightened partisan activity near the region, Kettler maintains there is no immediate threat to the public. Stressing that the National Guard’s deployment reflects routine precaution and the broader mandate to extend New Montana’s security dominion.

The Office of Grain Allocation has further announced that shipments of barley and preserved meat will begin moving through the secured corridor as early as tomorrow morning. This measure, they say, demonstrates the economic benefits of inclusion under New Montana's protective reach.

Again, National Guard units are advancing into Hel and Wladyslawowo to secure essential services and fold both towns into New Montana’s wider security dominion.
