General info
This achievement requires you to name a party member "Chuck Norris" and then wait for a specific random event to trigger during a drive. The main problem is the extremely low chance of this event occurring. Many trophy hunters report not seeing it after 80+ hours of gameplay. Personally, it took me roughly 40 hours to unlock, which included completing other content and challenges.
At start of the game
At the start of the game, you must select the Campaign mode, as this event cannot be triggered in Endless mode.

Difficulty selection

Difficulty setting does not directly affect the chance of the special event appearing.
Many guides recommend choosing suicide or a high difficulty. The common explanation is that higher difficulties feature longer distances between settlements, and thus gets more random events.
However, there's a significant downside: on higher difficulties, you find far less loot during scavenging. You will end up spending a massive amount of time searching for food, money and scrap during your run.

I propose a different approach: choose the Easy difficulty.
Yes, the total travel distance will be shorter, but you won't spend as much time scavenging and will encounter more events per hour.

Name your leader and party members
To increase your chances of triggering the event, I recommend naming all four crew members "Chuck Norris". Note that naming the leader this way is not necessary, as the game’s logic prevents the leader from triggering this event.
Alternative spellings such as "chuck norris", "ChuckNorris", or other variations may also work. You can verify whether a name is accepted by the game during gameplay: if a party member receives a joke event similar to that, the naming is correct.

Choosing a car

For this specific goal, we need a vehicle with the lowest possible speed. The SUV is an excellent choice for this purpose. Its passive ability does not interfere with the event we are trying to trigger.

As an alternative, you can also consider the Station Wagon.
Avoid using The Jag, as its passive ability increases chances to trigger point of interest (text quests and tombstones) on the road. This adds unnecessary interactions and delays.

Starting Supplies

I recommend setup similar to that

  • Fuel (7 points) You will need a large amount of fuel, even 56 canisters might not be enough.
  • Medkits (1 point) Crucial for quickly healing an injured crew member without wasting time and food on resting.
  • Spare Parts (3 points total) Needed for fixing car breakdowns immediately and avoiding major delays.
  • Ammo (1 point) A small investment to help with scavenging runs when necessary.
  • Food (6 points) The remaining points should go into food. This minimizes the time you need to spend scavenging for supplies, allowing you to focus on driving and encountering more road events.
On the road
Set the pace to slow and rations to large to keep your team's health at maximum. Do a few scavenge runs at the start to gather more resources, then hit the road. Try to avoid radioactive zones to prevent unnecessary damage, and choose the longest possible route. You'll most likely run out of fuel before the end of the game, so periodically use trade to exchange food, scrap, money, and ammo for fuel. Also, in the early stages, you can buy fuel in settlements if you've saved up money. To save time, don't take jobs in towns and don't check the auto shop.

Important! Triggering this event is quite challenging. You will likely need to complete multiple full playthroughs of the game.
It is also worth mention that after the event is triggered, the crew member is not considered dead but "missing" (this is not shown anywhere in the game). This same character may later trigger the Bandit King event after leaving the airbase.
