Server Lore
Setting
On the plane of Abeir-Toril, the archipelago of Elben Aator lies south of Faerûn and west of Zakhara in The Great Sea. Only a rare few come by choice to Elben Aator whereas the rest are often victims of poor circumstance. Those that manage to reach its shores soon find that a return journey to Faerûn is nigh impossible.

The majority of the central island is edged by high cliffs with sheer walls facing outwards towards the sea. To fall from such heights would result in a quick death upon the crashing waters and jagged rocks that lie hundreds of feet below. Though the port city of Fae Saile is located on the southern side of the isle, most sailors believe the waters have been cursed by Umberlee for her own delight as many fell sea beasts prowl the open waters.

If this were not enough, the smaller isles in the outer perimeter of the archipelago have been taken by pirates to serve as their bases. The pirates ply their bloody trade on the ships that sail between Faerûn and Zakhara as the sea currents often force ships close to the deadly archipelago. Though many are sunk throughout the year, the pirates are clever in their picking of targets to avoid stirring the ire of the major trading companies.

It is for these reasons that little is known of the archipelago's lore in the outside world. Despite these dangers, supplies from both Faerûn and Zakhara somehow reach Fae Saile but little is known of their transit. There are rumors that there is a secret eastern trade current to the western most islands of Zakhara that only an expert navigator can chart. This current, believed to be called the Silver Line, allows ships to swiftly pass beyond the reach of Umberlee's ire. If there is any truth to the rumor, the few captains that are brave enough to set sail guard the secret closely.

Removed the Select Character Topic since Aspyr's Interim patch fixed it so we no longer see local vault characters.

Made this guide after my discussion topic got lost in limbo after altering some information in the first post. Thankfully I can still access the discussion myself so I was able to copy everything over. I decided to exclude the bug list as that's better to be reported to the staff on their own Discord.
