"A new building that will make its debut in the upcomming update to the Commander Tech mod. For most factions this building will be the primary way of obtaining aerospace fighters. It can repair up to 10 fighters at once, and can refit omnifighters."

The mod is on on the workshop! It has been out for nearly two years now, but never got a ton of traction, I think because the current release is pretty rough around the edges. I've been chipping away at a massive update all this time.

Huh, that's cool! I've never heard of Commander Tech, though. Is it like an old mod, or is it not on the Steam Workshop? Either way I'd like to play this mod, looks fun.

I explain it in the description. But if you want a bit more detail: besides repairing aircraft, the building is used for calling in new fighters. It gives an alternative way of getting aircraft (normal way is building them from a factory).
And the aircraft shown in the image is a new unit coming with the update.
