So you want to ruin games, scare away new players, and make sure Deadlock gets the most toxic community award of all time? Perfect. You’ve come to the right place. Here’s my totally professional, definitely-not-sarcastic advice:

Lock the new heroes, lock it. put it on highest priority EVERYTIME. (even though you've played it enough)

Never forget: it’s NOT just a game.

Deadlock isn’t just some video game, you’re an alpha tester, which obviously means every match you play should be written into the history books. That means the smallest mistake by a teammate is your cue to launch into a five-minute rant about how you’ve “never played with worse players.” And if you rage quit, don’t just disappear .Make sure to type a loud “GG TRASH VINDICTA” before leaving, so your legacy of salt lives on.

Dive! Dive! Dive! Dive!

Dont wait for you lane buddy to come back, Fight without him you can do it all alone.

Only Kills Matter. Ignore Orbs & Objectives

Sure, orbs are how you farm and push lanes, but those are for team players. Focus on your K/D. Die ten times? Blame lag, map design, or even orb gravity. If someone cleans up your kills, steal them and belittle their “thieving.” Everything counts except teamwork.

This might be the best guide ive ever seen on Steam PERIOD. I WILL be following this guide to A T. It will be my job to make sure every single dead lock new player has the MOST miserable experience of all time, they will go 0-7 and hit the James Bond Double 0 7 clocking in on the enemy team.
