1. Build:
- 1 Marketplace
- 2 Hovels
- 1 Armoury
- 1 Granary

2. Sell all 60 Bread.

3. Set Auto-Buy in the Market to:
- 24 Maces
- 24 Leather Armours

💡 Note on Auto-Buy:
Normally, the game only lets you buy goods in amounts divisible by 5.
Auto-Buy bypasses this and allows you to set exact amounts like 24.
👉 This ensures you buy exactly what you need and keep enough gold for the Shrines.

4. Build your Barracks.

5. Disable Auto-Buy for Maces & Leather Armours.
👉 Otherwise unnecessary gear will keep being purchased.

6. Sell all Stone from the Stockpile and recruit 24 Macemen.

7. Send the Macemen immediately to the first enemy.

8. Destroy ALL buildings except the Marketplace to receive refunds.

9. Sell all your remaining goods in the Stockpile.

10. You will now have exactly 150 Gold → Build 5 Prayer Shrines.
👉 This grants you +5 Fear Factor, giving your troops a +25% combat strength bonus.

I. Faster recruitment:
Disband your starting troops for quicker recruitment speed. (Usually better – though in some matchups exact timing is more important than pure speed.)

II. Use your Lord:
Facing 2 opponents? → Send your Lord to the second enemy’s fortifications to destroy recruitment buildings or soak up damage.
Even in 1v1s, your Lord can help tank near enemies or land the decisive hit on the enemy Lord.

III. More actions per minute:
Reduce game speed with Numpad - for tighter micro and better efficiency.

IV. Alternative Auto-Buy disabling
You may skip Step 4 by deleting your market. Just make sure to build Barracks and then sell stone before recruiting

If you do so, also delete your armory after recruiting BEFORE you place your new market. Otherwise your Gold will be spent on weapons you don't need

- 24 Macemen on the field early
- +25% combat strength from Shrines
- ALL resources spent, no leftovers – maximum output
