Description
Two and a half months in the making, this simple mod changes the plant zombies to that of the terryfing Alien Warrior Xenomorph we all know, fear and love. Models, textures and animations built from the ground up and specially designed for Selaco!

Updated to now feature damage from the Xeno's acid for blood. Feel free to have a look at the files inside the pk3 file to help you with your own Selaco mods, plus get you ready for the upcoming official Selaco SDK in the near future!

Please report any issues and even better, offer up solutions to said problems as I'm not a programmer so I will be constantly learning new things as I go. The mod is fully functioning and was last tested on v0.90b: I will ignore any issues regarding previous game versions or nightly builds.

Many thanks to Altered Orbit Studios for the help, plus our patreons, fans and last but not least, the Selaco Discord members! Special mention and thanks to Nexxtic, Cockatrice, Dithered Output, DrDubz, TECH & soliddew for the direct help with the coding: couldn't have done this without you fine peeps!! Also the GZDoom Zscript tutorial by DavidXNewton and the ZDoom wiki. Apologise if I left anyone out!

Alien Warrior model + textures by Yij/YijArt. Sounds from AVP2010 by Rebellion. The contents of this mod are free to use and edit as a baseline for other Selaco mods. If they are to be used outside of Selaco, they must only be used for non-commercial mods plus credit must be given.

Known Issues:
• Other plant zombies will both bleed human and alien blood. Perhaps I will replace them in the future with other Xeno variants...
• Blood decals will interfere with corpse sprites
• Pain sounds are somewhat rare
• Grenade launcher sometimes doesn't gib dead xenos

Things I would like to add for the future:
• The ability to crawl along walls
• More Xeno variants like the Dog Alien
• Making the mod add the Xenos as brand new NPCs rather than replacers

New update: damage from acid blood from both shooting the Xeno + a permanent effect in the game world after they die, more details (and how to potentially counteract this) in the changelog. Also added PDA entry with graphics.

After alot of asking, testing, swearing and testing, I've finally come up with something of my own in the past few days that gives the impression of acid damage. Might push out the update in a few hours if all goes well.

I was actually thinking about that acid for blood & thought of an idea. Use the same way the acid grenades leave an acid aftermath and put that into their blood trail too.

That's the plan, sadly I lack alot (ALOT) of programming knowledge so I'll need to learn how to do this. I already tried experimenting with an AOE damage after the xeno dies, but it ended up taking all the other xenos out in a chain reaction as well as the player haha
