All valuable items are fragile.
Each item has 1 second of invulnerability when you first pick it up. So you can safely "pull" the item out of any place. The same goes for monster cores. They won't break until they're white. After this delay, the items will smash into players and monsters (causing damage) and surrounding objects. However, the collection point and carts have soft padding that protects the items (even if you drop them from a great height or on top of each other).
Fold items more compactly
In the future, the developers plan to add markings so that players can see what needs to be corrected at the collection point. But until this is done, it is worth remembering that everything that goes beyond the receiving device will be destroyed, and you will not receive money for the items.

Keep an eye on your allies' health and revive them
If an android dies, you can resurrect it by placing its head in the collection area or in the trailer after you've completed the quota. It will appear from the collection point with 1 health point, but in the trailer it will be restored to an additional 25 health. In addition, you can notice a health bar on the back of the androids' heads. If you grab it, you will start transferring 10 health points. This is useful, especially considering that there is a lot of quick minor damage in the game (a gnome's blow, an ally hitting an object, etc.).
Control the location of the cart
Many monsters will attack the cart if they come across it, breaking everything inside. Dwarves ignore androids if there are valuable items nearby, so leaving the cart unattended is not the best solution. Also, try to leave it on the edge, not in the aisle.

First reconnaissance, then collection
Make it a rule to first explore the entire territory, and then start your route with a cart. All found items, including those in the cart, will be displayed on the map, which will simplify further collection and save time. The further you move, the more monsters and collection points there will be on the way. Without an open map, you will lose a lot of time and break some valuable things.
Use the map
Small items found will be displayed as a yellow dot. The larger and more expensive the item, the bigger the dot. The cart can be found by the blue mark. If an ally dies, their head will be displayed in red. And a dotted line leads to the current collection point. You can open the map at any time by pressing Tab. This does not stop you or drop the item.

Experiment, but don't make too much noise
Some monsters react to sounds, microphones, and android voices. We do not recommend that you run headlong if you do not yet know what kind of monster has appeared on the location. Later, when you understand the mechanics, you can distract or, on the contrary, lure enemies into a trap with unnecessary noise.
Run before the lights go out
After completing the final norm, the lights in the complex will turn off, and monsters will start appearing in greater numbers and without delay. The longer you stay on the level, the less chance you have of surviving, so leave at least one player in the car. You can also run to the exit immediately after loading the last items. There is an additional rule at the last collection point - if you load items after the sound report, they will not be counted for you.

Buy upgrades first
After each level, you will get to the store where you can buy weapons, treatment and improvements for the android. In priority, everyone should take one copy of stamina, strength and grip range. After that, adapt your purchases to your style of play.
Purchased items do not disappear
If you haven't spent them but lost them on the level, they will return to the car on your next foray. So there's no point in taking risks and looking for an expensive item, just surviving is enough.

Buy a mini cart
It will come in handy not only for loading small items, but will also save you from a number of monsters. For example, if you fly into a room and there is an eye, just take the cart in your hands and break eye contact. Or you can put it under your feet when an alien grabs you to avoid falling damage (50 units).
Close combat weapons

Not the most convenient items that need to be "recharged" and also maintain a close distance with monsters. But, they pay off in the long run, especially when there are stunning items.

Sledge hammer - the most expensive, slow, but very effective melee weapon. To use, we recommend taking additional strength and increasing the grip range;

Baseball bat - a weapon for close and medium range. Despite the small damage, it throws enemies into the wall, causing additional damage. Convenient to use even without enhancements;

Sword - deals high damage, but is very difficult to control. Usually, a blow is made, after which you need to run away and hide, waiting for the right moment for a second approach;

Frying pan - a meme and expensive weapon that destroys small and fast opponents well and quickly. It has additional "stamina", so it is reloaded less often;

Inflatable hammer - when struck, it creates a shockwave that can push back and knock down enemies. This is useful on levels with chasms, but can also hit allies. The hammer itself is large and covers most of the view, which is not very convenient.
Long range combat

There are no ammo in the game, but each shot will use up a scale that can be restored on the ship. Usually, it is 5 charges for each weapon. Shots are fired via the action button (by default, it is "E").

Tranquilizer (Tranq gun) - temporarily puts monsters to sleep, allowing you to set traps, throw a creature into the abyss, or just run away. If you put a duck to sleep, then after waking up, it will automatically go into aggressive mode;

Pistol (Gun) - a standard weapon that is almost always available. However, it has a high cost, so you either need to save up several levels, or get to level 5+;

Shotgun (Shotgun) - a good long-range weapon, but with a short effective range. Slightly knocks back enemies and is useful against a large cluster of small pests.
Grenades and mines

Explosive weapons with a large radius of destruction. Requires skill, so before buying in the store you can test it for free. To activate a grenade and a mine, you need to press the action button (by default it is "E").

Stun grenade - stuns and blinds the enemy for a short period. Helps to buy time if you are caught by surprise;

Shockwave mine - pushes enemies back and slows them down. If they hit a wall, they will receive additional damage. Not the most effective weapon, which requires a special approach and suitable environment;

Grenade - a regular grenade with an average radius of destruction. However, it often does not damage flying enemies, simply knocking them back;

Stun mine - stuns the enemy, deals continuous lightning damage. At this time, it is better not to approach the enemy, because the trap can ricochet and begin to cause damage to players;
Shockwave grenade - creates a shockwave, pushing back and knocking down enemies. Works the same as a grenade, only it is activated upon contact with an enemy (or ally);

Explosive mine - deals huge damage in a small radius. After installation, you can not touch the object, because it will instantly detonate. Some monsters can kick the mine, so it is better not to be nearby;

Rubber duck - more of a fun item. When activated, it begins to move randomly, and explodes at the end;

Duct tapped grenades - an exploding grenade that is hidden in the attic of the store. The entrance is always located in the ceiling in front of the first aid kits. However, items for sale do not always appear there. A bundle of grenades in a closed room deals huge damage, which will allow you to quickly collect additional money.
Improvements

Permanent buffs that only affect the character using this buff.

Strength upgrade — increases strength by +1. The more it is, the easier it is to carry heavy objects and lift enemies. With a certain strength, you can grab monsters alone and kill them by slamming them against walls and throwing them into the abyss;

Range upgrade — increases the capture range. One buff is enough, you can not get carried away with this parameter;

Stamina upgrade — increases maximum stamina by 10 points. We did not improve this parameter above 70, this is enough with a margin;

Sprint Speed upgrade — increases walking and running speed. A controversial parameter, because the further, the more places with holes in the floor there will be, which means that additional speed will only increase the chance of falling;

Extra jump upgrade — adds the ability to make a second jump in the air. Allows you to climb to great heights where there are many valuable items, but is relatively expensive;

Tumble launch upgrade - by pressing "Q" while moving or jumping, you can perform a dash that deals damage to monsters. This upgrade will increase the range of the dash and the damage dealt;
Health upgrade - increases maximum health by 20 points. A useful purchase, considering that health can be shared;

Radar upgrade (Max player count upgrade) - shows an additional player on the map (Tab button). Convenient for tracking survivors when you can't talk.
Drones

Useful assistants that enhance the player's capabilities. They consume a lot of energy, but they can be combined to gain temporary invulnerability and quickly deal with problems.

Feather drone - reduces the weight of one object. You can have it in reserve if you suddenly become the last survivor;

Zero gravity drone - allows you to jump higher or reduce the weight of an object;
Roll drone - starts rolling objects or an android until it is canceled or the charge runs out;

Shield (Indestructible drone) - protects the object from breakage. Very useful on large and expensive objects that are problematic to carry in 100% condition;

Zero gravity orb - creates a field in which there is no gravity. A controversial item that consumes a lot of energy, but does not provide significant advantages;

Recharge drone - an additional battery that will replenish the supply on a sortie, without the need to return to the base.
Other items and consumables

In addition to offensive and defensive items, there are things that make it easier to find things and make runs faster and more exciting.

Extraction tracker - allows you to see the next rally point through the walls. In the upper right corner, it is marked how many points need to be filled before departure. It is very helpful in long runs, eliminating the need to monitor each point;

Valuable tracker - marks the location of valuables;

Energy crystal - is installed automatically in the ship and restores charges if the necessary item (weapons, drones) is thrown into the container highlighted in yellow;

Small cart - a convenient square cart, allows you to safely carry vases or throw small items in there;
Cart - a full-fledged cart, like the one you are given for free at the beginning of the mission.
Small health pack - restores 25 health units;

Medium health pack - restores 50 health units;

Large health pack - restores 100 health units.
Free items

Items that can be found on the level. You can sell them or use them to kill monsters for free (and, in theory, get even more money).

Toy Clown - if you click on the red nose three times, it will explode. You can click it twice and carry it around like a grenade. The clown has high damage, and the noise will attract most monsters;

Circular saw - a weapon with high damage per second, but you need several strength upgrades to hold it steadily in front of the enemy. It easily deals with small enemies, allowing you to clear the area and run away;

Flamethrower - a heavy item with an activation button on the side. To aim, rotate the entire item towards the enemy;

Magic Staff - a huge and heavy staff that shoots a laser on impact. It is expensive, so it is better to carefully carry it to the base and put it down;

Doll — starts attacking the player when he picks it up. Move the mouse wheel away from you to keep a safe distance. At this time, you can inflict constant damage to monsters, who will first try to destroy the doll.

***

These are all the items that we managed to find and test in R.E.P.O. The developers have already announced new free additions that will expand this list. If you found something that is not in this guide, share it in the comments, we will definitely update the guide.
(Gnome)

Gnomes are one of the most annoying and frequently encountered enemies in the game. They always attack in groups of three to five, relying on the tactics of numerical superiority and surprise. Although their damage is low, they cause a lot of trouble, destroying your valuable resources.

To make matters worse, they can respawn infinitely with a slight delay if they are present in the level. However, their weakness makes them easy prey: you can simply pick up a gnome and slam it against a wall or the floor to instantly eliminate the threat.

But the most effective way to deal with them is to use them as improvised weapons. Throw gnomes at other enemies to deal damage. This way, you will get rid of not only them, but also stronger enemies in the level.
(Frog)

The Chef acts like a slow-moving frog. He often pauses, smirks, and then suddenly pounces on the nearest player, swinging his cleavers. Although his attacks deal serious damage, they rarely kill in one hit. If the Chef misses, he loses his balance for a moment, turning into something like a rag doll. This is your chance to either retreat or strike back while he tries to recover.

Despite the simplicity of his tactics, the Chef can become a serious threat if he catches you off guard. So always be on your guard: dodge his jumps and attack when he is vulnerable. Defeating this enemy will reward you with between $1,500 and $3,000, making him a worthy target. The main thing is not to let him chop your hero into mincemeat.
(Eye Monster)

Piper is a creature that hides on the ceiling and remains invisible until it detects the player. When it decides to attack, your cursor will be directed at it with force. If the player maintains eye contact for about 3 seconds, Piper will begin to deal 10 damage per second until the player looks away or hides behind cover.

When the player stops looking at Piper, the effect ends and the monster disappears after a few seconds. However, at this point, the player's voice will become high-pitched, as if they were inhaling helium, and their field of vision will widen, which can cause disorientation.

To deal with the monster, be prepared to quickly retreat and get out of its line of sight. Taking cover in a doorway or under a table can be effective. Having a partner nearby makes things easier: the monster can only attack one player at a time, allowing the other player to direct you or, for example, close a door in front of you to interrupt the attack.
(Clown)

The Clown is a dangerous and noisy enemy that moves with loud, heavy steps. Its main weapon is a laser beam that can instantly destroy anything in its path. As soon as it notices the player, an ominous laugh is heard and the laser is activated.

The laser automatically adjusts to the player's position, so even being on a high ledge does not always save. After firing, the Clown is unable to act for a few seconds while his weapon cools down. If the laser is on cooldown (approximately 8 seconds), he switches to melee combat, delivering a powerful kick. This attack deals 50 damage and knocks the player back, which can lead to death. The Clown is also able to attack hidden players if it senses their presence.

Fighting the Clown is difficult, but you can exploit its weaknesses. Since it cannot jump, being on a high ledge gives you an advantage. At the moment when it is stunned after a shot, you can strike back.

Crouching under the laser requires precise timing, but the most reliable way to avoid the attack is to take cover behind solid objects. Note that the laser destroys your finds, so keep valuables away while fighting it.
Upscream

Upscream are twisted humanoid creatures that can move along floors, walls, and ceilings at a moderate speed. They usually appear in groups of 2-3. When an Upscream spots a player, it will grab them, let out a shrill scream, and throw them back, dealing 10 damage and stunning them for 2 seconds.

A single Upscream isn't as dangerous as they might be to annoy you, but in a group they can be a serious threat. Their ability to stun a player can trap you until you die.

A hammer is ideal for dealing with these enemies. You can also use a tranquilizer, which temporarily paralyzes these enemies, allowing you to grab them and slam them into walls or floors, dealing damage.

If you're facing multiple Upscreams, it's important that your team works together. Otherwise, you risk getting sucked into a protracted fight that can last the rest of the run.
(Reaper)

The Reaper is a rather weak and slow enemy. You can easily hide from him, because the enemy does not hear anything at all, and also has very poor vision - players just need to crouch to remain unnoticed.

If the Reaper notices you, he will start waving his bladed arms and rush to attack. However, his speed leaves much to be desired, and he easily loses sight of the target. It is enough to hide around the corner, and he will most likely forget about your existence.

The Reaper does not react to the sounds of voices, footsteps or jumps, but his attention is attracted by the gravity beam emitted by the protagonist. Therefore, it is worth avoiding picking up valuable items in his presence.

You need to be careful in combat with him: his chaotic blows can knock items out of your hands, and although he is not very intelligent, he can quickly reduce your health. On the other hand, the enemy's predictable routes make him an excellent target for close combat training and the use of tranquilizers.
Trudge

Trudge is an extremely dangerous creature that, despite its slowness, inspires fear. It drags a massive mace behind it, making a grinding sound that can be heard even through walls. We were lucky to encounter this enemy literally on our second run.

When Trudge spots the player, it creates a shockwave that pulls in everyone in its line of sight. Although the damage from the shockwave is small, the subsequent strike with the mace can be fatal. Despite its slow speed, Trudge is distinguished by its cunning. It uses its tendrils to crawl under furniture if it suspects you are hiding there. Fighting it is possible, but risky due to its high health and ability to pull victims into tight spaces.

Mines can be effective against it, but if they are not enough to completely destroy or distract it, it is best to run, hide, and wait for it to go away.
(Floating Head)

Headman is a giant flying entity that moves around the area, making loud noises as it searches for players. It is extremely sensitive to flashlight light; if you shine the beam on it, it will scream and attack, dealing 50 damage per bite and potentially knocking you back.

Headman is normally non-aggressive and will not bother you unless attacked or provoked. If it starts chasing you, simply turn a corner and hide - it will quickly forget about you and continue to patrol the area aimlessly. If you decide to fight it, wait for it to attack, as it has a long reload time. Its limited reach makes sledgehammers a great choice; if you keep swinging, it will not bite you. Additionally, this weapon is effective due to the large hitbox and low health of the entity.
Banger

Banger is an explosive enemy that spawns in groups of three and wanders aimlessly, often breaking away from its group. If it spots a player or takes damage, its fuse will light and it will rush to the nearest player.

Once lit, the fuse cannot be extinguished. Banger's explosion instantly destroys all nearby enemies and deals significant damage at range. Banger can be picked up and used like grenades, but they are not given away easily: enemies will often be torn from your hands after about 3 seconds, so be prepared to catch them again.

They have two sound cues: a hidden timer of about 10 seconds and a final warning - a quiet scream before exploding. If you don't want to mess with them, throw them into a well, lava, or acid. If timed correctly, they can be used to damage or destroy other enemies. However, it is best to stay away from the team when you first spot them to avoid a mass death.
(Duck)

The Duck is a small and harmless creature that acts like your own pet, constantly following players and trying to stay in your line of sight. When you try to pick something up, it will happily jump up and down, as if begging you to pick it up. However, this is a trick: if you give in to it, the Duck will turn into an Apex Predator. Such a creature will start chasing you at high speed, flying and dealing damage with bites, each of which deals 10 damage three times per second.

It's not easy to make money by destroying her, as any aggression will cause her rage. However, there is a safe way: go to the extraction zone, activate the piston and run away to crush her. This way you will get several thousand dollars. If you don't want to risk it, just ignore the enemy, no matter how cute he looks.
Hidden

The Hidden is a rare and nearly invisible monster that appears as a black cloud of smoke where its head should be, leaving only a faint trace of its presence. When it encounters a player, it will let out a shrill scream, grab the victim, and carry them away at high speed, stunning them and causing them to drop items.

It is extremely difficult to spot, and you may not even know it is there until it grabs you or an ally. While it is not very dangerous on its own, its ability to carry a victim right into the middle of other enemies makes it a serious threat.

If you act quickly, it is possible to free a captured ally, but killing the Hidden is nearly impossible due to its invisibility. If you suspect that an enemy is nearby, be on guard, because once you spot it, you will most likely be in its arms.
Huntsman

The Hunter is a blind but extremely dangerous enemy with incredibly keen hearing. He instantly reacts to footsteps, jumps, voices, or the sounds of objects. If he hears any of the above, he will fire a shotgun at you, which will result in instant death at close range.

He moves along a predetermined route and will not pursue players if they remain silent. To move safely, throw objects to distract him, dodge when he makes a sound before shooting, or lure him into shooting and slip past while he reloads. Reloading a weapon usually takes a few seconds.

Fighting him is a bad idea: he is like a tank, quickly turns and shoots, and is also quite resistant to explosions. If you still decide to get rid of him, use grenades, mines, or drop enemies from a height. Otherwise, it is better to be patient and let him wander around the level.
Bowtie

The Bowtie is a massive monster that usually moves at a moderate speed, but becomes a real threat once it spots the player. At that point, it will begin to emit a continuous scream that will push the player back and disable their ability to run or jump until they manage to escape.

While the scream itself is harmless, running into a wall or obstacle can be extremely painful. Bowties are also capable of pushing smaller monsters back.

Sometimes, Bowties can suddenly go berserk, speeding towards you and destroying everything in their path. However, when these enemies are just wandering around, they are slow and stop while screaming, making them fairly easy targets.

Tranqs and firearms are great at taking them down, but melee weapons are also effective, as Bowties have very little health and will die in one or two hits. If they are blocking your path, just wait and they will soon move on.
(Alien)

The Mentalist is a rare flying enemy that actively hunts players. Once it detects a target, it activates an anti-gravity aura that lifts all players and objects in the area into the air, keeping them suspended for 10 seconds. After that, the aura turns red and everything crashes to the ground, often killing players trapped under furniture due to physical damage.

If you are lifted to a great height, it will be treated as fall damage, causing you to lose 40-50 health. The Mentalist is able to teleport anywhere at will, disappearing into thin air, making it difficult to track.

It is fairly easy to eliminate it with melee weapons, as it has low health. If it catches you, have a teammate help you before it drops you and deals damage.

The safest option is to hide, as the Mentalist has poor hearing and vision. However, if he spots you, he will start chasing you at a moderate speed. Given his ability to teleport, always be prepared for him to be behind the next door.
Robe

Robe is a fast and silent monster that persistently pursues players. He does not notice them until he is close enough to strike. The attack knocks gamers back and deals 50 damage while crouched and 100 while standing. If you look at his mask, he will activate his rage mode and start chasing you at high speed.

Hiding from him is ineffective, as the enemy remembers the last location and will look for players under tables, beds and even in closets. The best way to survive is to avoid eye contact, keep your distance and wait, as he will disappear if he does not detect the player within a certain time. It is not recommended to fight him, as he has a lot of health and can easily pass through mines.
Animal
A fast and chaotic creature that does not pose a serious threat. Its attack is so slow that it only deals 2 damage. Although its movements seem random and unpredictable, in reality the creature is harmless and even useful, as it can crush dwarves standing in its way.

If you try to catch it, it will speed up and run away, but if several people grab it at once, it will freeze for a moment and then start damaging everyone around it. Most likely, the Creature would rather run away than engage in combat, and it is very easy to destroy it with any weapon, as it cannot resist.
Shadow Child
The Shadow Child is a skinny, teleporting monster that appears and disappears with a distinctive childish laughing sound. When you look at it, the screen darkens a little, and after 2-3 seconds, a screamer will appear with a loud scream that deals 30 damage and knocks the player back.

You don't have to destroy it, but if it's in an inconvenient place, just wait - it usually disappears after 10 seconds. You can also hit the enemy with a melee weapon, because it has quite low health, and it instantly dies from most attacks. Otherwise, it's more of an annoyance than a serious threat.
Spewer

The Spewer is a fast and common flying enemy that chases players and releases a green liquid when it spots them. It will either approach you or scream and bleat after a few seconds if you remain in its line of sight.

When the enemy touches you, it will chase the player for 10 seconds to a minute, causing no direct damage but altering your voice and occasionally causing you to vomit. This vomit damages allies, enemies, valuables, and breakables.

If you grab it while it is not attached, it will become scared and fly away, but if you corner it while it is trying to escape, it will begin to defend itself, dealing 10 damage per second. Try to avoid getting into collisions with teammates.
Rugrat (Baby Monster)
The Baby Monster is an enemy that constantly prowls the area looking for valuables. When it sees a player holding an item, it will throw the item at them, damaging both the item and the player.

If it has no weapons, it will run away. Despite its lack of other attacks, it should not be underestimated. The Baby can pick up and throw two of the player's items at once, which can result in their death, destruction of the items, or both.

To destroy it, you need to grab it and slam it into the floor or walls. However, it is significantly heavier than the Dwarves, and will require either 2-3 people or one person with three Strength upgrades to lift it. If you are unarmed or alone, these little thieves can be a serious problem.
