Despite appearing very early in Zone 2, these pages describe information that you can't really know until later in the game without reading this so it's probably best to not know about this until after you have completed the game.

The history of the three Guardians chosen by the Queen to rule over the Zones, islets of life in the Nothingness of this world.

The first, Dedan, was tall and short-tempered. His iron will and body of steel guaranteed him supreme reign over his Zone.

The second, Japhet, was kind and generous. Always smiling benignantly, beloved by all, he was vigorous and tireless, working constantly to increase the security of his subjects.

The third, Enoch was cold and just. He produced a fifth element in his Zone, sugar. His subjects grew addicted to this magical substance, happy but disconnected from reality.

Arcane legends tell of a Queen who lives at her father's side in the Room, creating phantoms to destroy the world they themselves created. Some say she is beautiful like the heart of the sun, others are certain she's invisible. Of course a lot of this is only baseless speculation.
