Research in culture for the early game. Yes you read it right, you wanna become a great power in the first years of the play (its comically possible since everyone starts broke). But why do you wanna do this in the first place? Well, you wanna colonize oklahoma faster than mexico and the USA, it will give u a better needed pop increase and some usefull resources, anything more that u achieve to colonize is usefull too.

after the great power status feel free to invest in industry and later in the military.


Build your military industrial complex in the early game ir hard even more when you are broke.
You are gonna really need those soldiers that you saved during the texan war to do the biggest strategy of this guide that i'll discuss latter.

I do not recomend invest in any increase of the soldier pop ub the ealy, and the divisions that you saved in the beggining are enough to do a good job latter. But there's something you really need to do aways, and that is fill your naval bases with ships, like many of them, build from the beggining of the game even if that means debt.

The navy is gonna increase your great power score (wich is needed to do the Oklahoma Colonial Tatic mentioned early) and its gonna win you some cheap war points later in the next game tatic.

Now the biggest L you can get, the US is gonna broke at some point into civil war, from the beggining of the game prepare your army and navy to act when this happens and then declare a colonial war in the CSA for one of their states i recommend louisiana. A big tip into that war is the fact that your troops no mather how good they are at this point are never going to beat the CSA army, you need the US to weaker them, and with lucky you are going to get a bit of the CSA while conserving the US allied opnion (pay atention that this means a target at your back by the US to the end of the game so aways be friendly with him).
