Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Walgreens Photo Center Kiosk

Locate the Kiosk:

Visit a Walgreens store with a photo department. Most locations (over 7,500) have a photo kiosk. You can confirm availability by checking the store locator on Walgreens.com or calling your local store.
The kiosk is typically in the photo department, near the photo counter.

Prepare Your Photos:

Bring a USB drive, SD card, or CD with your photos, or ensure your photos are accessible via your smartphone (through the Walgreens app or cloud services like Google Photos or Dropbox).
Note: Kiosks may not support direct printing from all cloud services, so downloading photos to a device beforehand can save time.

Start at the Kiosk:

Approach the photo kiosk, which is a self-service touchscreen station.
Select your preferred language (if prompted) and follow the on-screen instructions to begin.

Choose Your Input Source:

Insert your USB drive, SD card, or CD into the appropriate slot.
Alternatively, connect your smartphone via Bluetooth or use the Walgreens Mobile App to upload photos directly. You can also log into cloud services like Google Photos or Dropbox if supported by the kiosk.
If you’ve already uploaded photos through the Walgreens app or website, you may be able to access them by logging into your Walgreens account at the kiosk.

Select Your Product:

Choose from available options, such as:

Photo Prints: Sizes include 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, 4x4, 8x8, or 4x5.3 (True Digital Prints for digital camera dimensions). Finishes include glossy or matte.
Photo Gifts: Options include photo books, cards, canvas prints, posters, magnets, mugs, or wood panels.
Collages: Create layouts with multiple photos.
Passport Photos: Available at the photo counter with staff assistance, not directly through the kiosk.

Follow prompts to select the specific product and customize as needed (e.g., size, quantity, or layout).

Upload and Edit Photos:

Select the photos you want to print or use for your project. You can browse and choose images from your connected device or account.
Use the kiosk’s editing tools to crop, zoom, or adjust images. Be cautious with zooming, as some users report warnings about potential blurriness for low-resolution images.
For custom products like cards or photo books, add text, choose layouts, or select themes (e.g., scallop edge trim for premium cards).

Review and Confirm:

Preview your selections to ensure accuracy (e.g., correct photos, sizes, and quantities).
Check the estimated pickup time. Many products, like standard prints, are available for same-day pickup (often within an hour), but larger items like posters may take longer.
Apply any coupon codes if available. You can enter codes like CUSTOMPRINTS or TOOKPICS at the kiosk for discounts on eligible products (e.g., 60% off canvas prints or 50% off photo cards, valid through August 23, 2025).

Place Your Order:

Confirm your order and select “Same Day Pickup” if you want it ready in-store (available at most locations).
Pay at the kiosk using a credit/debit card or other accepted payment methods. Some services, like the 1 Hour Photo app, allow you to pay upon pickup.
You’ll receive a confirmation and an estimated pickup time via email or the Walgreens app if logged in.

Pick Up Your Order:

Return to the photo counter when notified (via email or app) that your order is ready. For same-day orders, this is typically within an hour, though it’s not guaranteed and depends on store volume.
Check your prints or products for quality before leaving. If there’s an issue, speak with a staff member at the photo counter.
