I am not the best player of the for est but i know how to play it. First of all i will start with the basics because a lot of players do this mistake or dosent know about this. When you start a new save,dosent matter the difficulty,you need to get as soon as possible an turtle shelt or more,before you do this,you make a spear by useing 2 sticks to combine/craft,and after this you start looting all the cases,the spear is the most useefull weapon for animals and opening fast the crates for loot. After you do this steps,you need to make a house,the small house should be perfect for start if you are not 2 or more players to grind some wood. After you get some food and water,i suggest getting first the modern axe and katana,because they are very easy to get and they are close to each others and thats it,from now you just need to play for fun or to just finish the story. Now for the advence people that want to make 100% achivements at the forest,please,try to do the 100 days achivement as soon as you can and watch all teh achivements before,because almost all the achivements can be get by juust playing the game,expect 3 achivement that need to play carefully or to replay the game to make the vegan achivement. For vegan achivement you have 2 options,first is to speed run the game and just kill only the final boss and avoid fight with cannibals or mutants,or the easy method that works but you need to finish the game first,is to use a command(look on youtube for this) that skip the entier game till the final part(spoiler) when timmy starts to transorm into a mutant himself.
