Beginner Guide (WIP)

This is just a guide meant for those just starting the game. I've compiled some things I've learned thus far (as this game was only just released less than two weeks ago) so it's likely to have updates made to it eventually.

General Gameplay Tips
  • Opening your journal pauses the game.
  • Click Esc to view the main menu options.

    Newspaper Tidbits
  • The color of the circles around the newspaper deals hints at the genre.
  • The newspaper will occasionally share town lore! other days, it shows your last day's selling results (including expenses) which is also shown during and after the day in your journal.

    Recommendations
  • Recommendations can be outside the suggested genre - some books show up in multiple genres.
  • Do NOT recommend books of the same exact title! I've done this accidentally a few times now, just focusing on the summary for books instead of reading the titles. It's easier to do than you might think.

    Map Locations
  • When starting out at a new location, keep all your books genres stocked - after the first day spent, your journal will populate with that location's best selling genres.
  • As you play, location prices rise.

my scene has totally frozen and no shops areas is being shown just a blank map. I have no proper faces and everything is pink at time it is difficult to scroll through my index of goods I have got and things dont work as they should
