Ancient Obelisks are combat shrines that, once activated, spawn waves of enemies until a named miniboss shows up. Defeat all enemies to earn XP, gold, and loot.

Finish all eleven for that character-wide stat boost you actually feel later. Three are gated by story progress, so clear Emotion of the Ocean before Queen's Gate, push The Son of a Witch for Karnok's Wall, and advance A Mortal Coil to open Drowned Abyss paths.
