World Map vs Glyphs not all are pictured but it helps to visualize at a high level.





I know I'm missing Serpent's Stack, but I couldn't find the glyph or map in game so I'm leaving it out. Note: Serpent's Stack doesn't have an in game map.



I also couldn't find the glyph for Eastern Shoal, I think all of the mysteries there use more environmental clues matching with other screens compared to a step by step glyph guide.

After heading to a specific island/location, you may need to move to a nearby screen according to these glyphs. Screens are represented with two dashed lines with a bar in the specific direction.


You can see footsteps in general when walking over magma. Toes are the wider part with a skinnier heel in the back. It can look a bit backwards, but just remember the wider side is facing forward.

Glyphs with the different elementals can mean making them match a picture, be in a certain spot, or to push the elemental according to different footstep directions.

Here are some specific environmental glyphs.

Not to be confused with the music notes on the same screen as the various musical instruments. Using Water Music as an example, from lowest to highest notes, but as you can see it will work with other instruments as well.

These flags are the markers you can place on the map. Use the same button to add a flag to cycle through the different flag colors/shapes.

So even with all of these glyphs, there can still be confusion on what it means. I'll break down a small glyph phrase step-by-step to see how it fits together.
