For some reason the swinging in this game is really messed up and flings you across the room for some reason. If you position yourself correctly however, you can manage to swing semi-normally.

After swinging up from the pole, make sure to hook to the ceiling facing away from the chandelier. This is the setup for the "reverse swing", which you need in order to prevent yourself from getting tossed across the room when swinging normally.


HOLD RT THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH


Next, swing up by holding up and left on the D-pad (I highly recommend using the D-pad) and pressing jump. This will make you jump off to the left but also makes you go up.


After that, simply hook onto the wall by hitting it with the morningstar.


This is where it gets tricky. To set up the next reverse swing, jump up off the wall and TAP RIGHT on the D-pad. Immediately after, use the morningstar to hook to the ceiling tile again.


This time you will most likely be too far to the right to simply hold left and up again. Instead, hold left and press the jump button to jump to the left. This doesnt get you a lot of height, but flings you further left than before.


Rinse and repeat until you see the spikes on the left. Here you can just jump over and hold onto the pole. Once you are holding onto it, hold up and right and jump to get up to the small platform. You should have just enough height to have Clementine climb onto it.


Once you are on the platform, simply hook onto the ceiling facing towards the spikes, and fling yourself towards them normally. The glitch will throw you all the way to the Blaster Blade, where you can collect it.

Getting the Blaster Blade is needlessly infuriating with the morningstar glitch, so I hope this guide helped you getting perhaps your last weapon you had to collect. It is a difficult setup, but once you get the timing down, it is rather simple.
