OFF Remaster – 100% Achievement Guide

Introduction

This is a complete guide for unlocking every achievement in OFF Remaster. Most achievements can be unlocked in a single run without replaying. However, there are a couple of exceptions that can become missable depending on your choices (for example, the rollercoaster event in Zone 2 and the Aries card vs. bat trade). I’ll highlight these in the guide so you don’t get locked out by accident.

Most achievements are tied to story progression, defeating bosses, or exploring new post-purification content. There are also a few that require collecting rare items to reach the true ending.

WARNING: THIS GUIDE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS. Because many of the instructions are illustrated with screenshots, you will inevitably see key plot moments and late-game content. My recommendation is to enjoy your first playthrough without using any guide—nothing can be missed, and you won’t need to restart the game. Once you’ve seen the credits, come back here to clean up the remaining achievements without fear of spoilers.

Did the hardest part.
Clear Zone 0. This is the very first achievement you’ll earn and also the simplest, you just have to pass the tutorial.

You dared to kill me??
Defeat Dedan in Zone 1. Pretty self-explanatory, you can't miss this.

We are not really friends.
In Zone 2, move Zacharie’s statue onto the roller coaster cart’s front seat before riding it. Take the ride to unlock the achievement.

⚠️ Important: This achievement is missable. If you defeat Japhet and save without doing this, you won’t be able to go back and trigger it anymore.

Forgive me for my crimes.
Same as Dedan's achievement, really self-explanatory. Defeat Japhet in Zone 2.

What do you think you are doing?
The last one of the guardians. Defeat Enoch in Zone 3.

You’re wrong.
Defeat the Queen inside The Room. Same as with Sugar, I recommend getting rid first of all her... flying armor? idk what that is, but looks really cool.

It’s done.
At the final decision point, choose The Batter's final. Then defeat The Judge (and turn OFF the switch).

What are you doing?
After Dedan has been defeated, return to purified Zone 1. Follow the original path of the progression for this zone and when you find some stairs climb all the way up and defeat The Source.

Violently happy.
After defeating The Source, go back to purified Zone 2. Head to the park, where the roller coaster was, and interact with the eye on the ground to trigger the fight against Maldicion. Win the battle to unlock the achievement.

You lost.
Once Maldicion has fallen, travel to purified Zone 3. Enter the furnace shown in that area, climb down to the very bottom, interact with the eye, and battle Heriditus and Herodotus.

That’s mean :-(
After taking down Enoch, return to Zone 0. If you already have at least one of the five Grand items, a new staircase will appear in the ground leading to the cellar. Go down and defeat Sugar (probably the toughest fight—take out her dummies first).

I won.
When Heriditus and Herodotus are gone, head into The Room. A staircase will appear on the right-hand side of the entrance, next to the saving cube. Go down, interact with the eye, and face Justus.

I loved you very much.
After defeating Justus, a swirling portal will show up in the upper-left section of The Nothingness. Enter it, interact with the eye, and battle Carnival.

Everything you do is useless.
After Carnival is defeated, but before entering Hugo’s room (right after the Queen's bossfight), look for a new staircase on the left. Go downstairs, and interact with the eye below to fight Cob.

Our plan was perfect.
This is linked to the True Ending. To unlock it, you’ll need to gather the five rare elements scattered through the purified zones and events:

  • 1. Grand Finale – Found inside a chest at the far end of purified Zone 1, where you needed a Pedalo to find out the code to a puzzle, right before Dedan's battle.


  • 2. Grand Diagonal – Hidden in a locked room at the end of purified Zone 2; the passcode is located in a nearby room to the left (NOTE: the map has changed a bit, to access this area you have to enter the mall (maze) and go south-west until you find an exit). This is the exit i'm talking about:

    The room you're looking for is the farthest-east one. The code is 1709 .

  • 3. Grand Spectral – Located in the room where we first faced Enoch, in purified Zone 3. Go there and you'll find a door to a vast empty world. To find the correct door, you just have to travel diagonally and enter the first you find. I repeat, diagonally. Does not matter the direction, it's a loop.


  • 4. Grand Chocolatier – Obtained automatically after defeating Sugar.


  • 5. Grand Brachial – Purchased from Zacharie in The Room before the Queen battle for 5000 credits.


Once you have all five, return to Zacharie in Zone 0. He will offer you trades—accept the Aries card instead of the bat. ⚠️ Warning: if you trade for the Ashley bat, you’ll lock yourself out of the Space Monkeys achievement (linked to the Aries card). Finish the game with the Aries card equipped and after the credits roll you will unlock the true ending along with this achievement.
You deserve a reward.
Unlocked automatically once you have earned all other achievements!! Good job.

The Zacharie rollercoaster achievement is permanently missable. That just gives you a set of stat boost orbs, it's the necktie from the balloon game that you need to progress

you say none of the achievements are permanently missable but saving after beating Japhet locks you out of the Zacharie ride achievement, and saving after trading for the Ashley bat locks you out of the Space Monkeys achievement.
