Only use this save after you have completed your achievement list. Using it before completion may result in achievements unlocking in an incorrect order.

This is a detailed step by step guide for downloading and installing the save. If you are not fully sure what to do, please read all sections of this guide for how to install the save correctly.

After unlocking all achievements there is still a task to complete.

Your remaining objective in achieving a perfect save will be to level all characters to level 99.

There are 12 characters in total and it is likely you will have levelled 4 of them to 99 by the time you have all achievements. To finish this task this will require many hours of replaying levels to farm your XP and it is a slow process.

Please spare yourself the suffering and use this completed game save.

This game save was completed without cheating, modification or save editing.

Game progression:

All Story and arcade missions unlocked
All Difficulty options unlocked
All Characters unlocked
All Characters at level 99 (maximum)
All Characters skills unlocked

Minor details:

Leaderboard scores are tied to Steam ID and do not transfer with saves. If you wish your save to be 'visibly perfect' you will need to set your own Co-op score and Nightmare+ arcade mode scores.

Click the upper left box of the folder "config". Click download and choose option: "Download as a zip file". Once download is completed extract the folder contents.

The boxart is not required to download.

All following steps were done on Windows 10 Pro - 22H2.

Open your Steam library and select Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds. Right click and choose Properties. In the General tab disable Steam Cloud by clicking the enable/disable button as shown in the example screenshot.

You will need to locate your folder containing the game save files.

The save data is usually found in this location:
C:\Users\USERACCOUNTNAMEHERE\Documents\Saved Games\Phantom Breaker BG\config

Make a copy of the folder "config" and keep it in a safe location.

Inside the folder will be the file structure shown in the screenshot:

Now delete all contents of the folder named config.

Move downloaded files into the empty folder and start the game to use your new save.

This save has been tested on multiple users. Some without issues and some with.

If your save is not working correctly please try the following steps:

1. Fully delete the contents of the config folder.
2. Put steam into offline mode by opening steam and left clicking "Steam" in the top left corner of the window and choosing "Go offline".
3. Start the game and it will ask to create new save data choose "Yes".
4. Close the game and delete the contents of the config folder again. Now move the downloaded save into the folder.
5. Start the game and check if the save is working.
6. If the save is now working you can return Steam to online mode by following step 2 and choosing "Go online".
