How to conserve/transfer worlds between Computers
By Whosideawasthis?
So lets say you've got a huge world your working on (E.g the thumbnail), but you are moving on to a new PC, how do you keep your progress? I was in this predicament a few months ago and I have the solution.

1: Find the world

Go to your PC File explorer, go to:
C:\users\USER\AppData\LocalLow\Lumbernauts\TinyTown\Internal\Worlds
From there, find the world(s) you want to transfer, the easiest way to know which one you want is to look inside the world folders and look at the file named "Preview" Ingame this is the thumbnail image for your World.
2: Transfer the world
via a memory USB stick (what I did) or a direct USB connection, drag the World folder(s) from the Origin computer to the Target Computer.
Before you transfer check the following:
  • Same steam account as the origin computer
  • Target computer has the same workshop mods/dlc installed
  • Ensure you're dragging the World file, not something else, it will be called a bunch of numbers, usually the date it was last modified in-game, E.G; 1_2_2025_16_43_36
Hooray!!!!

Once you are certain of everything put the World folder into the C:\users\USER\AppData\LocalLow\Lumbernauts\TinyTown\Internal\Worlds Location this time on the target computer

After that you should be done! That easy!
This also works for Oculus version -> Steam version, I imagine it also works Vice Versa but only if no Workshop or DLC items are on the world being transferred to oculus version.
