The "Texan" is one of the best shotguns in the game, with massive damage per shot and a decent magazine capacity. To find it, we need to get to Pripyat.

To find the "Texan", you need to head south of the city to the "Pripyat" checkpoint — or, more precisely, to the abandoned scientific settlement located right next to the checkpoint.

There, you need to head to the leftmost bunker on the map.

But be careful — there will be a pseudogiant (one or possibly several).

If you don’t feel like fighting the pseudogiant, then just dash into the scientists’ bunker.

t’s in this very bunker that our "Texan" will be lying on a table.
