Introduction
▶️ Tips for getting started:
Avoid jumping while climbing slopes — it uses more stamina than simply climbing from the base.

For easier achievement hunting, consider playing on Tenderfoot difficulty.

Note: All achievements can be unlocked in this mode.

On Tenderfoot:
  • Climbing uses less stamina.
  • Hunger builds up more slowly.
  • There’s no time limit for completing areas.
Note: Keep in mind that the game map refreshes every 24 hours. If an achievement feels too difficult or even impossible at the moment, just wait a while — the new map might make it much easier to unlock… or more difficult 😈.
"Thanks to @Pancake Guy🥞 and @Archenys for giving me permission to use their art."
Astronomy Badge
"Look a little too closely at the blazing sun."

Use the binoculars to look at the sun in the MESA biome.

So beautiful.

Note: You will only unlock the achievement if the sun is at the point where the scorching heat affects you.
Megaentomology Badge
"Survive an Antlion attack."

To unlock this achievement, you need to enter the Antlion pit, take at least one hit from it, and then escape the pit alive.

You can find their nests as soon as you enter the mesa biome in the middle of the desert. You’ll notice sand mounds surrounding a lugagge, which will let you know they’re there.

Daredevil Badge
"Shoot across the MESA canyon in a Scout Cannon."

To unlock this achievement, cross the large central Mesa desert rift by shooting yourself with the cannon and stand on the other side — it unlocks instantly.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤCannon Glitch

Thanks to @Dentu for the newspaper!
24 Karat Badge
"Offer The Kiln a worthy sacrifice."

For this achievement, you must carry the Bing Bong Idol into the volcano, in the KILN area, and throw it inside.

Where to find it
Entrance:
You can find the entrance in the giant crack that covers much of the desert. It may take a while to find it, but you’ll know it’s the right one when you see big hole on the ground.

Mineshaft:
THIS IS NOT the ENTRANCE or the EXIT, is just a mineshaft.

Exit:
You will find the exit of the temple in the middle of the desert, which is very hard to find.
You can find it more easily at night, as this area will glow from the torches inside.

Binbong is too heavy to climb all the required points to escape. If you’re playing with friends, I recommend having one person climb without carrying any weight, then throw the Binbong statue to them from close range. Repeat this for each slope in the hallway until you reach the end.

If you’re playing solo, you can use a chain to cut through the entire path and complete it while still keeping some extra energy.

If you have the Bing Bong Ancient Idol in your inventory, it will protect you with a heat shield. With it, even if you end up under lava or in scorching heat, it will have no effect on you—or on whoever is holding it at the time.

Once you reach the inside of the volcano, throw the idol into the lava. You don’t need to wait for the lava to start rising to drop it — you’ll still get the achievement.

Aeronautics Badge
"Achieve flight."

For this achievement, you will need to collect enough balloons (6) to be able to fly or glide. These can be found in any suitcase across all zones, so gather as many as you can. Don’t use them one by one—use them all at once, because they deflate and disappear after some time or use.

The Balloon and the Balloon Bunch can be found in any type of luggage except Mystic ones.

For this achievement, you will need a total of 6 balloons to fly or glide.
  • Balloon (🎈) = 1
  • Balloon Bunch (🎈🎈🎈) = 3
So you can mix them in different ways to reach 6, for example:
  • 🎈🎈🎈 + 🎈 + 🎈 + 🎈 = 6
    Bunch ballon + 3 Ballons
Needlepoint Badge
"Have a lot of cactuses stuck to you."

In the MESA, you’ll find small balls called cactus. You can pick them up, but if you walk or climb over them, they’ll stick to you and prick you with their spines.

To unlock the achievement, you need to have at least 5 cacti stuck to your body at the same time, either by stepping on them yourself or having someone throw them at you.

Note: Make sure to get them stuck in a safe place so you don’t suffer from heat damage while carrying them and be care of those bad cactis.
Cool Cucumber Badge
"Climb past the MESA without ever having more than 10% Heat."

To unlock this achievement, cross the MESA desert without your heat exceeding 10%.
You can do this in several ways: by using items that cancel heat; moving only through shaded areas while the sun is still up; or by doing it at night (the night lasts 5 minutes, just like the day).

This is 10% of the Heat. If you get more than this, you don't get the achievement. Even if you reach the top with no heat, you should never exceed this amount of heat before reaching the campfire.

3 ticks of heat is ok, 4 u wont unlock the adchievement

Another option is to enter the temple at night and get the BingBong Idol, which protects you from heat and any effects while you carry it, although its weight can be a drawback.

Finally, reach the campfire at the top and light it to unlock the achievement.

Ultimate Badge
"Catch a Flying Disc from 100m away."

There’s an actual trick too: you can get the achievement by throwing the disc from a very high place into the water, since throwing it into the water doesn’t count as touching a surface and it remains “in the air.” So, when you throw it, go down and retrieve it from the water, and when you pick it up, you’ll get the achievement.

Have someone throw the flying disc, which can be found in the wreckage of the plane, from a fairly long distance but close enough to reach you.
Once you catch it in midair, you will earn the achievement.
Sometimes, you can also get it if the disc hits you directly on the head and you pick it up right afterward.

Nomad Badge
"Climb past the MESA."

You will earn this achievement by reaching the campfire at the top of the mountain in the THE MESA biome.

Note: The game map updates every 24 hours, so the image might not match how your map currently looks.

Survive the scorching biome of THE MESA. Beware of tornadoes, heat, spines and cacti, the Antlion, and anything else that might try to kill you, I suppose.

Note: The third area can be Mesa or Alpine, as they rotate weekly. If, at the time you read this, only Mesa is available, you won’t be able to obtain the Alpine achievement until the following week, when you complete the map and that zone is available.
Resourcefulnessbadge
"Succumb to your hunger.."

Reach at least 75% hunger without eating anything and then eat a friend, (when you do it, you will gain a curse). Reserve energy doesn’t count toward the total hunger percentage because the hunger bar only measures main energy.

Note: You need to look directly at a player and be close enough to tell if you have enough hunger; otherwise, they’ll still appear as non-chicken characters.

This achievement can only be earned in multiplayer with the cannibalism option enabled. You can toggle cannibalism on or off in the main menu->settings, so be sure it’s turned on before playing.

You can also get it by eating a roast small chicken, but you need to have the cannibalism option disabled and obtain the Roast Chicken item by breaking a big egg in Caldera with a 0.009% drop rate so this can be frustrating to get.
GOAL ACHIEVEMENTS
These are achievements you can accomplish anytime, with no extra conditions needed.
Beachcomber Badge
"Climb past the SHORE."

Climb the mountain in the first area, SHORE and light the campfire at the summit to unlock it.

Note: The game map updates every 24 hours, so the image might not match how your map currently looks.
Trailblazer Badge
"Climb past the TROPICS."

Climb the mountain in the second area, TROPICS and light the campfire at the summit to unlock it.

Note: The game map updates every 24 hours, so the image might not match how your map currently looks.
Alpinist Badge
"Climb past the ALPINE."

Climb the mountain in the third area, ALPINE and light the campfire at the summit to unlock it.

Note: The game map updates every 24 hours, so the image might not match how your map currently looks.

Note: The third area can be Mesa or Alpine, as they rotate weekly. If, at the time you read this, only Mesa is available, you won’t be able to obtain the Alpine achievement until the following week, when you complete the map and that zone is available.
Volcanology Badge
"Climb past the CALDERA."

Climb the mountain in the fourth area, CALDERA and light the campfire at the summit to unlock it.

Note: The game map updates every 24 hours, so the image might not match how your map currently looks.
Peak Badge
"Reach the PEAK."
To unlock this achievement, overcome the KILN and keep climbing until you emerge from the volcano. Your destination is the PEAK, the highest point. You’ll recognize it by a blue flag and a flare box waiting at the top. It won’t be easy… but it’s been quite a journey, hasn’t it?

Participation Badge
"Have a friend escape the island without you."
To unlock this achievement, you must be in multiplayer, and any player except you must successfully escape the island.
You need to be in ghost form when the countdown ends and the helicopter takes off.

Note: If you are only unconscious, the achievement won’t unlock. Therefore, before someone lights the flare in the final zone (PEAK), press E to die faster and ensure you are in ghost form at the end.
Esoterica Badge
"Obtain a mystical item."

To unlock this achievement, you need to obtain a mystical item, which can be acquired in two main ways:
  • From Explorer Statues located near campfires, provided no player needs to be revived.
  • In Ancient Luggage, which spawn randomly in any zone.

Note: It is recommended not to open Ancient Luggage if your health is low, as opening it costs a portion of your life.
Mentorship Badge
"Have a 1-on-1 with the Scoutmaster."

To unlock this achievement, you need a one-on-one encounter with Myres, the Scoutmaster.

In multiplayer, you must break his most important rule: never leave a friend in trouble! To do this, one player should stay at the start of the area while the host climbs to the summit.

The Scout Chief will appear when the height difference between the highest player and any other player exceeds 200 meters. It’s recommended that the host climbs alone while the others wait at the beach to avoid glitches and ensure the boss appears. When he spawns, the screen will flicker with static and he will come for you.

Alternatively, you can summon the Scoutmaster solo using the Scout Chief’s Horn, a rare item found in Ancient Luggage (0.8% chance) or Statues (0.9% chance), with an overall very low chance to appear.

Note:
  • While anyone can summon the Scoutmaster, only the host can earn the achievement.
  • The Scoutmaster can appear in any zone.

"His breath remained on the mountain… and though death embraced him first, it was your abandonment that made him cold."
Emergency Preparedness Badge
"Heal an unconscious friend with an item to save them from death."

This achievement can only be obtained in multiplayer mode by reviving another player using items.

A player is considered unconscious when they have spirals in their eyes, cannot move or speak, and can be carried by others. To revive them, you must use items that remove negative status effects until their stamina bar is no longer locked. For example: use antidotes to cure poison, food to relieve hunger, or medkits/bandages to treat wounds.

Tip: An easy method is to have another player deliberately collapse until they become unconscious, then heal them with a medkit or bandage to quickly unlock the achievement.
Arborist Badge
"Reach the top of a really big tree."

Endurance Badge
"Climb 50m upwards without touching the ground."

For this achievement, you must climb a wall in a vertical or upward diagonal direction without touching the ground—that is, without ever leaving contact with the wall or any structure that would allow you to rest, such as a vine or a chain.

BEST WAY TO UNLOCK IT:

The easiest way to obtain this achievement is to acquire a lollipop and an energy drink from the luggages, and then locate a smooth, vertical wall to make your climb easier.

Once you are ready, consume the lollipop first (which grants unlimited stamina for 7 seconds), followed immediately by the energy drink (which doubles your speed and reduces stamina consumption by 50%).

This combination effectively gives you infinite speed and stamina. During this time, hold down Shift and jump upward as quickly and frequently as possible. If executed efficiently, you will far surpass 100 meters, allowing you to climb 50 meters without touching the ground effortlessly.
To receive it, you must stand on a surface after climbing 50 meters or fall directly to the ground.

Animal Serenading Badge
"Play the bugle for a capybara."

Easiest way to get a horn:
  • Quick method: Keep the horn you find on the plane right after waking up on the island.
  • Other options: Master Explorer’s Horn or Friendship Horn (from an ancient statue or found in ancient luggage).

📍 Finding the capybara hot springs:
  • Head toward the mountain and look for a cloud of steam.
  • The location won’t change within the same map (before the 24-hour reset), but it can be at any elevation in the zone.

PROGRESS-BASED ACHIEVEMENTS
These achievements are progress-based and accumulate over time as you meet their requirements, so you can complete them across multiple matches.
Bookworm badge
"Read all of Scoutmaster Myres's journal entries."

To unlock this achievement, you need to gather all the pages from Myres’ journal, also known as the Scoutmaster.

Where to Find Them
They only appear at the top of certain areas — always near campfires.
Exclusively found in the SHORE, TROPICS, ALPINE, and CALDERA zones.
They will not appear in KILN or SUMMIT.

How They Work & Progression
  • The location of each page stays the same while the current map is active.
  • The map resets every 24 hours, which changes the page locations.
  • Pages always appear in this order: 1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5 → 6 → 7 → 8.
  • If you already have one page, the next one you find will be the following in sequence.
Example: If you have already opened page 5 and then find another scroll and open it in a valid zone, it will be page 6.
  • In multiplayer, the page’s content depends on the progress of the first player to open it.

Requirements for Progress to Count
  • You must inspect each page for it to register.
  • Once inspected, your progress saves automatically.
  • You do not need to finish the run for the achievement to count.

Tips
  • Difficulty settings do not affect page spawns.
  • If a page doesn’t appear in a specific zone, you can bring it from another zone or wait for the next map reset.

There’s a new update that allows you to collect every page even if you’re not in a specific zone, just like before:
Pages you’ll receive depending on the area where you open them✅:

Bouldering Badge
"Place 10 pitons."
To unlock this achievement, you need to place a total of 10 pitons.

Pitons are randomly found inside luggages, and your progress carries over through multiple playthroughs.

To place one, climb a wall and hold right-click while selecting a piton from your quick bar. If you don’t want to keep them or have no inventory space, it’s best to place them as soon as you get them.

Happy Camper Badge
"Receive 5 Morale Boosts from campfires."

How it works:
When you’re near a campfire with 2 or more players, you’ll receive a Morale Boost notification in the bottom-left corner, granting you extra stamina.

📌 Important:

Since THE KILN have no campfires, you’ll need at least two separate runs to get all 5 boosts.

If you’re too far from the campfire when it’s lit, you won’t get the boost.
High Altitude Badge
"Climb 5000m total."

This achievement is earned naturally as you play. The summit is around 1,920 meters high, so you’ll unlock it after a few runs — whether you win or fail. It’s often obtained while completing the rest of the achievements.
Toxicology Badge
"Restore 200 total poison by using items."

For this achievement, you need to use items that cure poison on someone who is currently affected by it. If the person is not poisoned, using the item won’t count towards the total poisoned points healed.

Note: It doesn’t matter if you use the items on yourself or someone else; as long as they are poisoned, it will count towards the achievement.

Before getting poisoned, make sure to have at least one of the following items to heal yourself:

Cooking Badge
"Cook 20 meals at campfires."

How it works:
  • Only the first time you cook an item counts toward progress.
  • Non-edible items also count.
  • You can use the fire at the plane wing spawn point, and yes — you can even cook Bing Bong!

Tip:
Fill your backpack with whole coconuts, split them near a campfire, and you’ll get 14 halves to cook quickly. Don’t waste time — the fire only stays lit for 60 seconds.

Important:
  • Food cooked on a portable stove does not count toward this achievement.
  • Always cook with the item in hand and hold “E” over a heat source.
  • Repeat this process until you reach 20 items.

Valid heat sources:
  • Campfire
  • Plane wing fire
  • Magma heat

❌ Not valid:
Portable stove
SINGLE EXPEDITION ACHIEVEMENTS
These achievements require you to meet certain conditions during a single attempt to escape the island (that is, without failing and returning to the airport). You do not need to escape the island; the achievement unlocks as soon as the conditions are met.
Foraging Badge
"Eat 5 different berries in a single expedition."

To unlock this achievement, you must consume 5 distinct fruits in one playthrough. Different color variations of the same berry do not count;
they must be unique species.

Explore the first two zones thoroughly and you’ll find enough berries. Some are poisonous,
but they still count toward the achievement.

Tropical bug that attaches to your leg. You can remove and eat it; unfortunately it no longer counts for this achievement.
Mycology Badge
"Eat four different non-toxic mushrooms in a single expedition."

There are 7 types of mushrooms in total — 4 are safe to eat, and 3 are poisonous.

  • Edible Mushrooms can’t be found in the last areas, such as Caldera and KILN.”
  • Study them carefully to identify which ones are safe before eating.
⚠️ Warning:
Be very careful with mushrooms labeled as POISONOUS, or you’ll suffer negative effects!
Clutch Badge
"Resurrect 3 scouts in a single expedition."

How to do it:
Interact with a Explorer Statue near any campfire in the zones COAST, TROPICO, SIERRA, or CALDERA when there are dead players (ghosts).
You don’t need to revive all three at the same time — just make sure you revive at least 3 players during the match.

⚠️ Important:
Using the Explorer Effigy item to revive a player does not count toward this achievement.
First Aid Badge
"Heal your friends for 100 points of injury in a single expedition."

  • Injuries are shown as a broken red heart on the stamina bar.
  • To heal other players, hold right-click while holding a healing item.

🩹 Items that work:
  • Bandages
  • Medkits
  • Cure-alls
  • Medicinal roots
  • Yellow winter berries

Tip:
Have a player injure themselves by falling, then heal them with a medkit — these restore all wound damage at once, making it easier to reach the 100-point total.
Plunderer Badge
"Open 15 luggages in a single expedition."

  • Suitcase locations do not change within the same map; they only reset with the island’s daily generation.
  • You can memorize their positions or use the Pirate Compass to find them more easily.

Tip:
It’s recommended to do this solo on Tenderfoot difficulty, since there’s no time limit and you can explore at your own pace.
Knot Tying Badge
"Place 100m of rope in a single expedition."

Loot all available suitcases and fully use each rope spool, which measures 12.5 meters. You’ll need at least 8 spools to reach the goal.
  • Other ropes also count toward the achievement, including:
  • Cannon ropes (5 meters each)
  • Anti-gravity ropes

Tip: Use any rope type you find to reach 100 meters faster.
ESCAPE ISLAND ACHIEVEMENTS
These achievements require you to meet certain conditions and then successfully escape alive in the helicopter at the summit in the same match in which you completed the achievement’s requirements.
Survivalist Badge
"Escape the island without ever losing consciousness."

  • You become unconscious when negative effects exceed your stamina bar, but you have a few seconds to react before collapsing.
  • Carrying a flashlight can help prevent fainting from cold in the Alpine zone, a common cause of failure.

Tips for success:
  • Avoid unnecessary risks.
  • Monitor your stamina closely.
  • Stay aware of your surroundings.
  • If you stay alert and manage your stamina wisely, you’ll unlock this achievement without any issues.
Bing Bong Badge
"Help Bing Bong escape the island."

For this achievement, you must carry the Bing Bong plush from the crashed plane at the start of the game all the way to the summit and escape with it in the helicopter.

In multiplayer, all players earn the achievement if at least one player escapes with Bing Bong in their inventory.

Note: Even if Bing Bong was cooked or fell into lava, the achievement will unlock as long as you manage to escape with its remains.

There’s an interesting fact about Bing Bong: you might think the game only supports 4 player connections in a lobby, but actually, Bing Bong has its own assigned slot, making it 5 in total — even with a space to talk through it.

This is because the developers sometimes use Bing Bong to interact and chat with players, stirring up some controversy (Bing Bong even moves its mouth when someone speaks through it).

So be careful what secrets you share in the game—you never know who might be listening.
Lone Wolf Badge
"Escape the island in a solo expedition."

Tips:
  • Explore carefully and avoid unnecessary risks.
  • Use any equipment you find to make climbing easier.
  • If the map feels too difficult, wait for the daily reset and try again.
Speed Climber Badge
"Escape the island in under an hour."

Tips:
  • Explore different maps and memorize efficient routes.
  • If the route feels too long, wait for a new map generation and try again.
  • Use energy drinks and popsicles to move faster and conserve stamina.
  • Loot only what’s necessary and focus on climbing.
  • Easier to do solo or with one partner, since you don’t need to wait for other players.

⚠️ Note: If you join a match that’s already in progress, your timer starts when you enter. For example, if you join at the start of CALDERA, you’ll have a full hour to complete the last two zones and escape.
Balloon Badge
"Escape the island without taking fall damage."

How to do it:
  • No items directly prevent fall damage, so you’ll need to use safe routes and move carefully.
  • Always descend via slopes or walls, even if they seem small.
  • Grabbing a vine or chain while falling can prevent all fall damage, as long as it’s high enough off the ground.

Tips:
  • Take your time and monitor your stamina.
  • Avoid unnecessary risks.
  • If the map is difficult, try again on a more favorable one.
Naturalist Badge
"Escape the island without eating any packaged food."

**How to do it:**

  • * Complete the game **without consuming any food from suitcases**. You may only eat **natural foods** like fruits, mushrooms, honeycombs, eggs, campfire marshmallows, or use **Pandora’s Lunchbox** or **Cure-all**.
  • * Other players **cannot give you packed food**, or the achievement will be invalidated.

Leave No Trace Badge
"Escape the island without placing anything on the mountain."

  • If anyone uses any of these items, the achievement is invalidated for all players.
  • You can use platform mushrooms and magic beans without issue.

Tips:
  • If climbing without gear is too difficult, wait for the map to change and try again.

Multiplayer notes:
  • No one can place items that would invalidate the achievement.
  • Only Magic Beans and Shelf Mushrooms are allowed.
Gourmand Badge
"Escape the island after cooking and eating a coconut half, a honeycomb, a yellow winterberry, and an egg."

To unlock this achievement, you need to cook and eat all the following items in the same run, then escape the island using the helicopter:
  • Half a Coconut
  • Honeycomb
  • Yellow Winterberry
  • Egg

Where to Find Each Item:
Coconut:
Found on palm trees in the SHORE and TROPICS areas.
To open it, throw the coconut with more than half force against a surface to split it in two. You can cook one half right from the start using the fire from the crashed plane’s wing.

Honeycomb:
Appears on thin trees in the TROPICS area.
Grab a beehive and throw it against a surface to break it, yielding up to 4 honeycombs.
Bees will chase and try to sting you, but if you run far enough and destroy the honeycomb, they will stop pursuing.

Yellow Winterberry:
Found in the third area: ALPINE or MESA.
Sometimes they appear on trees (only winter trees from Alpine), but you are more likely to find two (Alpine) or one (Mesa) guaranteed berries on the heads of capybaras.

Note: The exact location of yellow winterberries varies between trees in the same map in case of Alpine, with a spawn chance of about 1 in 100 winter trees.

Egg:
Found in the fourth area: CALDERA, inside large nests scattered around.
Each nest can contain 0 to 3 eggs.
To collect it, throw it like a coconut, but this time you’ll get only one egg, not two halves.

"NOW THAT YOU HAVE ALL THE INGREDIENTS, LET’S COOK:"
Once you have collected all four items, make sure to cook and eat each one yourself during the same run. You can do this in any order and at different times, but they must all be cooked and consumed by you (not by someone else) before you escape the island.

Finally, escape alive in the helicopter to unlock the achievement.
SECRETS
The game hides several secrets you might have found over time, but just in case, here they are for you!

Morse code
In the Lobby (the airport), there’s a screen displaying the developers’ names encoded in Morse code.

ScoutMaster’s model
Also, in the same waiting lobby, if you go through a fence, you can closely examine the ScoutMaster’s model.

No way out?
🚁 During gameplay, you might face an issue on higher difficulties: when you reach the summit, there won’t be a flare, so you won’t be able to call the helicopter unless you brought a flare from the luggage or from the plane wreckage.

But there’s a workaround: let yourself pass out at the summit, or die from hunger or health loss after reaching the summit’s flag.

The game will then automatically teleport you to the helicopter.

Hidden statue
There’s also a hidden statue behind the flag hill at the end, you’ll find a gem on it.

The gem does not have any use.

Orange scout
There is a model of an orange scout in the game files that is not part of the new hallucination mechanics. You can find it outside the MESA biome.

]It performs actions such as jumping and going in and out of bushes, cacti, or small mountain mounds, but you can only see it from a distance.

If you get too close, it will hide and disappear, making you look crazy if you try to show it to your teammates.

Thanks again to @Archenys (autor of the artwork) of the orange guy!

you will be able to find everywhere

Hi @luthernmac, the achievement in the game’s code is set up to detect only items declared as “placed items.” The pythons in the Alpine zone don’t count because they are already placed and generated with the map. As for the shelf fungus and the magic bean, they aren’t classified as this type of item either. The reason you haven’t obtained the achievement is due to persistent bugs from the new update. Over time, all the bugs will be fixed. If you want to help report them, you can do so on the official Discord :greedyHeart:

hi @Zamora, the previous achievements are working now, but Leave No Trace Behind is not working. We didn't place any items on the mountain except fungus, but it didn't unlock. Unless we can't even use the pitons that are already placed on the mountain.

Seems that Cool Cucumber was patched to work better with latest update, probably why it didn't unlock for me

@luthernmac I’ve edited it so it’s clear enough this time, I hope it’s helpful to you

by the way, i think for the Aeronautics Badge you could add that we can farm/find the 3in1 balloons instead of getting 1by1. i didn't know until my friend told me.
