I've been working in this for some time and decided to share with everyone interested in creating concept art for Dota 2 Workshop.

Key features.
- High-res PSD files : 9000X3000
- T-pose/ Loadout/ In-game views
- Set/ No-set layers.



Layers Overview (from bottom to top):
1) Background

2) Bind Poses - this is how the model will look in 3D editors.
Subfolders have variants for just the base body and default set, which could be used for reference.
Also includes weapon, shield, etc., if the hero has any.
-Small known issue. It was rendered with a bit of perspective, so front/back views are not 100% symmetrical.


3) Loadout - uses loadout background and loadout pose of the hero.
Also available in two variants: set/noset.


4) In-game - top-down in-game view in idle pose. A separate layer for dire and radiant.


5) Portrait view to get the idea of the camera angle and cropping if you'd like to consider that for your set.
6) Tech Requirements - poly-limits and texture limits for workshop. Since they are updated frequently, PSD tech data may be somewhat outdated.

Some heroes with mounts or multiple characters (alch/techies) have extra layers.

In my work, I combine different layers/views depending on my needs.
