The reason I used double ponytail is that “马尾” means "ponytail" and I thought “双马尾” (twintails) can be simply be translated into "double ponytail" :p Maybe you will find it boring but I just want to share this with you.

Fantastic, but it's a bit weird to call them double ponytails instead of twintails.
