This guide will show you how to download and install a mod for Resident Evil 0 that adds the classic Item Box feature to the game. STEP 1: Create an account in Nexus Mods

First go to Nexus Mods: https://www.nexusmods.com/ and create an account or log.

STEP 2: Download

First go to this link: https://www.nexusmods.com/residentevil0biohazard0hdremaster/mods/39

Then click the download button

STEP 3: How to make the mod work

GO to the Mod zip:

And drag it in the resident evil 0 folder, mine its in here:

And it will look like this:

Then extract the zip by clicking "Extract Here" i use 7zip.

After extracting it will look something like this:

After putting that there it should work, however if it doesnt work go to the file named: "re0box.ini"
And do what this image says:

By Doing that the Mod will work.

STEP 4: How the mod works in the game

There are no physical Item boxes, so to access the item box you need to go to any save room and go to the typewriter and a dialogue will appear saying if you want to save/not save or use, if you press the use button the inventory of the itembox will appear.

Here is a example of the dialogue:
(Translation: Save data (Yes/No) our use item box?)

(Yes, No , Use)
