<- INTRODUCTION ->

Commando - The first Perk that Killing floor 3 introduces you to in the tutorial & a very Beginner-Friendly one!

Mr. Foster in this game is a Jack of All Trades, with the passives helping him to be
  • Extremely Versatile
  • Fill up the ZED Time Meter a LOT faster
But also on the other hand he is a Master of None, Due to
  • Lacking Overall Damage
  • Most Perks do everything Commando can, but much better

BUT don't you worry! Playing Commando is still extremely fun nonetheless!
Now that you've learned Pros & Cons of this Perk, It's time to lock and load for Weapons.

<- WEAPONS & RECOMMENDED MODS ->
1. X295 Wraith
Your starting Commando weapon, not that powerful but still efficient enough for Early-game. I'll recommend Weapon Mods that will help until you buy SCAR EIR.

  • Recommended Mods for X295 Wraith

  • <- Electric Ammo (Ammunition)
This will help you apply some shock Zeds and potentially stun them.

  • Suppressor (Barrel) ->
Has the stats of both Compensator & Muzzle Brake along with having a ZED Time gain multiplier.

  • <- Enhanced Foregrip (Underbarrel)
Has some of the Accuracy from Laser Sight, but also reduces Recoil.

  • Reflex Sight (Sight) ->
Accuracy? Handling? Reduced Recoil? It's all yours, my friend!

  • <- Drum Mag (Magazine)
While the reduced Reload Speed & Handling doesn't sound great, It compensates more Mag Size & reduced Recoil.

  • Fast Action Receiver (Internal) ->
While it's not as good as Heavy Frame Receiver damage wise, increased firerate should be enough to deal with Zeds Early-Game.

2. SCAR EIR
A very Essential weapon for Most of the match, being able to easily deal with Husks & Sirens with AP Bullets. You can either keep it as your secondary weapon or sell it for Knightsbridge.

  • Recommended Mods for SCAR EIR

  • <- Armor Piercing Rounds (Ammunition)
This will be the essential thing for dealing with Husks & Sirens.

  • Suppressor (Barrel) ->
Has the stats of both Compensator & Muzzle Brake along with having a ZED Time gain multiplier.

  • <- Laser Sight (Underbarrel)
With more accuracy, this should help with Husks from far away.

  • Reflex Sight (Sight) ->
Accuracy? Handling? Reduced Recoil? It's all yours, my friend!

  • <- Lightweight Mag (Magazine)
Slightly reduced Mag Size in exchange for faster Reload Speed.

  • Heavy Frame Receiver (Internal) ->
With how much reload speed & low recoil SCAR EIR has, don't worry about the decrease. The Damage will be a REALLY useful thing with Big Zeds coming up Mid-Game.

3. Knightsbridge
The BEST weapon from Commando, having both a big amount of ammo capacity & magazine which will let you clear out trash a lot easier. Frag Launcher will also help with Crowd Control & against Big Zeds.

  • Recommended Mods for Knightsbridge

  • <- Reactive Alloy Rounds (Ammunition)
you do lose some Accuracy, but it compensates with some Damage increase & Knockdown Affliction.

  • Mag-Channel Accelerator (Barrel) ->
Accuracy increase, Penetration Power increase & Recoil reduce. What's there to hate about it?

  • <- Frag Launcher (Underbarrel)
The main MVP of this Weapon, having the ability to clear out trash of Zeds and also deal tremendous damage to Big Zeds.

  • Reflex Sight (Sight) ->
Accuracy? Handling? Reduced Recoil- you get the point.

  • <- Drum Mag (Magazine)
While the reduced Reload Speed & Handling doesn't sound great, It compensates more Mag Size & reduced Recoil. ALSO, makes this weapon have the magazine size up to 80.

  • Fast Action Receiver (Internal) ->
The increased firerate is essential to clearing out the trash a lot faster.

SIDEARMS
Krait
One of the best Sidearms for Commando as it fits the Perk's Playstyle & synergizes well with Get Loaded Passive Skill.
  • Mods:
    Armor Piercing Rounds (Ammunition): An Alternative to deal with Husks & Sirens.
    Extended Mag (Magazine): More mag.

KH-380
One of the alternative Sidearms for Commando that is used for healing your temmates when the Medic is not on the match. (YOUR CHOICE OF WEAPON MODS.)

ALTERNATIVE PRIMARY WEAPONS

Stormguard
A great Commando Primary Weapon if you don't have enough to afford any of the recommended weapons as it's still enough to carry you through Mid-Game.
  • Mods:
    Acidic Ammo (Ammunition)
    Suppressor (Barrel)
    Enhanced Foregrip (Underbarrel)
    Reflex Sight (Sight)
    Extended Mag (Magazine)
    Fast Action Receiver (Internal)

K&W MP6
A great alternative Primary Weapon to heal your temmates for when the Medic is not on the match (YOUR CHOICE OF WEAPON MODS.)

BEST PASSIVE ABILITIES.

  • Critical Strikes - Each shot has 1.5% chance to deal 150% Damage.
  • Deadlier Zed Time- Teammates within 10m deal 2.5% bonus weapon Damage during Zed Time. OR Boss Basher - Deal 5% more damage to Bosses.
  • Allied Zed Time - Zed Time Gain Multiplier is increased by 15% if there's at least 1 Teammate within 10m. OR Agile Aiming - Reduce Spread while moving by 10%.
<- BEST PASSIVES FOR COMMANDO ->
Now we move on to Commando's best Passive perks that would help our British man be as versatile as a multi-purpose tool!

<- LVL 2: Fire Sale
Max ammo capacity increased & the price of ammo from the Trader Pod is decreased, who wouldn't want such tasty ammunition?

LVL 4: Think Fast! ->
Your grenades will now explode on impact, also 25% reduced self-damage from it.

<- LVL 6: Market Panic
Zeds get interrupted and writhe in places for 30% longer with Hellion's acid clouds.

LVL 8: Preferred Customer ->
Weapons cost 15% cheaper from Trader Pods, what a steal.

<- LVL 10: Capacity Increase
More Grenades!

LVL 12: Widen Out ->
Increases Hellion's Acid clouds' radius by 25%, now it can reach to more Zeds!

<- LVL 14: Booster Shot
Increases Syringe capacity up to 5 max, also heals additional 5 Health per second for 5 seconds upon usage.

LVL 16: Corrosion Explosion ->
Changes the grenades' damage type to Acidic. While it does decrease the damage by 50%, it does create a cloud that does Acidic damage for 3 seconds.

<- LVL 18: Slow Dance
First impact explosions from Hellion applies over 60 Enfeeble affliction. (Weakens Zeds, making them attack and move slower)

LVL 20: Get Loaded ->
Weapons reload automatically when holstered for 2.5 seconds and increases swap speed by 10%. Great for Sidearms & Secondary Primary Weapons.

<- LVL 22: Capacity Increase
more grenades! x2

LVL 24: Business Expansion ->
increases the number of clouds up to 3 and increases their max duration by 5 seconds.

<- LVL 26: A Real Rager
Using a Syringe increases Movement Speed by 15%, Weapon Damage by 15% & Bash Damage by 50% for 20 Seconds. Using Additional Syringes refreshes the duration.

LVL 28: Scavenger ->
Landing headshots will give a SCAVENGER stack, at 12 stacks it gets consumed & refills 1 grenade.

<- LVL 30: Smog Warning
Hellion's acid cloud damage increases by 20% for each second of it's duration.
<- GENERAL TIPS ->
STICK TO YOUR TEAM MORE OFTEN, DON'T LET YOUR EGO GET YOU (Multiplayer)
While it is pretty cool & potentially more rewarding if you go on a Zed killing all alone, It really wouldn't be a great idea when you're up against several Big Zeds that are gonna chase for your tail & possibly killing you.
Don't be shy to be closer to your team more often, it's also a lot more rewarding as all of the Zeds will be heading to all of you in general.

KNOW WHEN TO START RETREATING & STRIKE BACK
But now if you're in a situation where a lot of Zeds are cornering & outpowering you (Also when you're low on Health & cannot deal with any of them at the moment), Try to find spots with least amount of those freaks & start running away along with using some Syringes. This will provide a lot more survivability in your matches!

WEAK POINTS ARE KEY
Obvious tip, but incase you forgot: Try to aim your weapons at Zeds' heads as it's a key to one-shotting them most of the time. But along with heads, try to learn more Zeds' weaknesses through CODEX to know what else to shoot at besides the obvious one.

STRATEGISE YOUR TOOLS
Last but not least, think of your each strategies with Tools. You can use several different Tools & save them up for future waves, but note that the Tools are not unlimited & there's a limit for each wave.
(Try to make use of Multitool to unlock some doors, ziplines & armor storages.)
<- CONCLUSION ->
Our British man is pretty easy to learn & definitely becomes a decent Perk with each LVL, but we still need to note that he's only just a Jack of All Trades & won't put up a powerful punch overall.
Still, doesn't stop our dosh-addicted day trader to be a nuisance to Horzine even after decades!

Thank you so much in advance if this Guide helped you build Commando better. be sure to leave a like on it to help this become popular!

1.Lightweight Mag with LVL 20 Get Loaded skill? sorry, but its useless.
2. LVL 30: Smog Warning instead invicibility in acid cloud?
3. LVL 14: Booster Shot instead guardian angel?

This tips you should absolutely change if you wanna win on HoE :Nightfall:

@Rat Bastard

it would honestly depend on your preference & what weapon you want it to be focused on.
but for my own build i have right here it's:

Deadly Resupply
Agile Aiming
Killshield
Long Distance Operator
Ammo Efficiency
Zed Time Reload

for other primary weapons you can also focus on boss-related stuff like Boss Basher & Boss Buffer.
