  • A purebred horse receives a combined breed stat bonus of +7.

  • A crossbreed can receive a combined bonus of +8, which is the highest possible.

  • If a crossbreed is more than 50% of any single breed, its combined stat bonus drops to +6.

  • To maximize your horse’s bonus stat points, aim for a crossbreed with no more than 50% of any one breed.

The table below displays the stat bonuses for 50%/50% crossbreeds.

Calculate Any 50%/25%/25%
The following rules can be applied to calculate any 50%/25%/25% crossbreed's stat bonus.

Rule 1: When one stat bonus is +0
  • +5 and +0 → result: +3
  • +4 and +0 → result: +2
  • +3 and +0 → result: +1
  • +2 and +0 → result: +1 (but can be +2 if needed to make total = 8)

Rule 2: When one stat bonus is +1
  • +5 and +1 → result: +4
  • +2 and +1 → result: +2

Rule 3: When both stat bonuses are higher
  • +5 and +4 → result: stays as +5
  • +2 and +3 → result: stays as +2
