CS2: How to be a useful teammate
By LeonPraterDiesInS1E10ofDexter
Are your teammates calling you useless because all you do is give the enemy free money? Worry not, after reading this guide you will be bullied even more! At least you might learn a few useful things, like how to talk.

Introduction
This guide is dedicated to 90% of the useless randoms in matchmaking. If you are one of them, please read this.
Step 1: Communication is key.

You see this? This keybind allows you to use your microphone, which you should already be using. However, if this is your first time seeing this, congratulations, i'm sure your teammates were crying after the game. On a more serious note, avoid giving info on text chat. No one looks at this when they are playing. Instead, press the keybind on your keyboard to say it to them directly.

Being a good boy/girl.

With that out of the way, now we're gonna talk about listening to your teammates. For example:
  • When you hear your team say "Go B", what are you going to do? If you are an average matchmaking player, you probably said something about pushing A alone. While that could be good for distraction, 90% of the time no one will fall for it unless you execute it good. So you should go with your team, and if you are splitting and faking A TELL THEM ABOUT IT. A simple "I'm faking, wait before pushing" never hurt anyone.
  • Information is crucial. This should be pretty obvious, but apparently for some it isn't clear enough. If you see an enemy, you should immediately tell your team how many of them are there and where are they, for example, "Two on stairs". This gives your team more awareness while they are going to enter the bombsite and therefore gives them more chance of winning the round. Same goes with damage. Let's say you buy a scout and go mid. You manage to hurt the window player, but it isn't enough to kill them. Now you can give a call that the window player is low on health.
Step 2: Team economy.
Economy is an important aspect in this game. Having a better economy than the enemy is an obvious advantage, as you have more money to purchase various weapons. But that's not what we're gonna focus on in this guide. Let's say you won the pistol round, your team bought AK in the second round and you lost. Your team goes full pistol, but you glance at that money bar and see that it's just enough to purchase an ak-47. Now, if you thought about buying it, please bonk yourself in your pretty little head because unless you're donk, you're losing that. What you should do instead is either go eco or buy a tec/deagle.

Dropping your teammates.
I refuse to believe that this has to be said, but if you see that your teammate (assuming he's not a moron and wont immediately die) is asking you to drop a rifle, you should do it. Unless they're a bit special if you know what i mean.

Dont buy weapons you dont know how to play with!!!
This includes mainly the AWP and the desert eagle. While both are a powerful option, if you dont know how to use it, you shouldn't buy it. Not knowing how to play deagle often equals to dying without a kill, giving the enemy an advantage. The same goes with AWP, but the enemy is more likely to take this weapon instead of a rifle, for example, which can be a disaster.
Step 3: Not being a moron.
What includes being a moron you may ask? For example:
  • Flashing your teammates on purpose
  • Walking into your teammates incendiary/molotov to intentionally ban them. (If your teammate is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this might be justified)
  • Team killing without a good reason (Again, in cases like your teammate defusing without a kit when you have like 7 seconds left would be justified)
  • Team damage
  • Giving info to the enemy on ALL chat
  • Pretty much any form of griefing.

This section is quite short but it speaks for itself.
Conclusion
(Keep in mind, this guide is not finished yet. I will continue to update it, you may also give tips in the comments.)

I hope that this guide will teach people that this game requiers teamwork. Surprisingly many people seem to not know the basics of this game and what is important, therefore this guide exists.

If you have read everything you can like this guide, add to favorites and award it or something, whatever people tell you to do under these. Idk, im new to this.
