- just use the mouse to click on each field with and than press the controller button you want to assign to each action.
- the options may try to ♥♥♥♥ with your brain by being displayed as keyboard inputs (just ignore that)

Joystick up, down, left, right for W, S, A, D
LT for Run
A for Jump
X for Hit
B for Back
Y for Murfy
D Pad up and down for Murfy Left and Right (for when he has to turn wheels or something)

The most fun part is that these settings do not save when you close the game. so you gotta reassign them each time you start. >:)
