This guide will cover the rarest achievements in the game: Never Gonna Give You Up / Cycler / Insanity.

I'll focus on these because the descriptions are shallow, and since the game only activates achievements when you close it (as of this writing), it's difficult to tell when you've earned one or not.

Update

Some time after this guide was released, the developers fortunately updated the game so that achievements now appear on the screen the moment you claim them (previously, they would only appear when you closed the game).

For this reason, it has been confirmed that the CYCLER achievement can be obtained by reaching the credits roll within a maximum of 15 minutes (counting from the start of a new game).

However, the steps used in this guide to obtain the CYCLER and INSANITY achievements in a single attempt are valid, and you will easily obtain the achievements by following them.

Never gonna give you up

This achievement is unlocked by persistently trying to start the car X number of times. It's difficult to pinpoint the number for the reason mentioned in this guide's description, but when I did, I:

New game
Tried to start the car 10 times
Achievement popped

I imagine the number is between 5 and 10. If you have a precise number, feel free to comment here.

Cycler / Insanity

These two are particularly tricky to understand exactly what needs to be done. I divide this game into two parts: pre- and post- "Are you happy, Aeolides?", which happens in the first cycle after the credits roll. After this cycle, all the others will be exactly the same. It's difficult to say whether the achievements can be completed before or after this cycle (I strongly believe that Insanity CANNOT be completed before).

Anyway, here's a step-by-step guide:

New game.
Do everything as fast as possible and always choose the same options. In my case, I always said "Yes, I'd like to join, thank you" and always called Dr. Ethan.
Refusing to sleep at her house might be faster, since you'll have to go to the car regardless of what you choose, but I chose to sleep there (before the credits roll) and it still worked.
After the credits roll, you'll go through the "Are you happy, Aeolides" cycle, where her head shakes. At the end of the cycle, leave the house and immediately return. The cycle will have restarted, and you won't need to go to the car to start the cycle again.
From here, you start counting how many cycles you'll go through. You'll always choose the exact same options, since the cycles here are always identical. The options I chose were mentioned earlier.
Make sure you always refuse to sleep at her house, to make it faster. Leave the house and immediately interact with the door again.
Repeat the process at least FIVE times. I did 6 just to be sure and it worked great.

Thanks for this guide help!

The weird thing is: neither Cycler nor Insanity popped up for me when I earned them. But I exited the game and it said (on my steam library page for the game) that I had earned all the achievements. But when I looked into the individual achievements, it still said Cycler and Insanity were locked. So weird.

So I shut down steam and restarted it and then those achievements appeared where you'd expect them.

I don't know if this was a game glitch or just a steam glitch, but FYI.

Regardless, this guide worked exactly as directed. Took my maybe 7-8 minutes for Cycler, and another 10 or so for Insanity.

Thanks. I just did a new run doing everything as fast as possible, not sleeping in the house for example. It took me around 7 minutes till I got to the credits, Cycler then immediatly popped up, as the dev released an update so achievement pop up during the game not when closing it.
Maybe you add those infos in your guide, also the 15 minutes mark.

hi! i've talked to the devs about ''Cycler'' and they said to complete the game from the start till the credits in under 15 minutes, i've finished the 3 and went to push the car and the achievement came!
