Getting Started
The main point of this event is to stop Mechanon from taking control of Snake Gulch and forming his robot army there.

Short Version is obtaining the following two Dailies and turn in the quest:

  • High Noon at Snake Gulch
  • Asciing For Trouble

Now for the Long Version.
High Noon at Snake Gulch
This Open mission takes place over at the Desert, more specially Snake Gulch. You can ask the Event Vendor to port you to that location. To start this Open mission, it is recommended that you have at least one tank and one healer to make this Open Mission runs smoothly. Once that settle, your group need to shutdown 10 Transmitters and destroy the 50 Mechanon bots. You're given a time limit of 5 minutes to finish this first part of the Open Mission. Once this is done, then Mechanon Liberator will show up.

There is many things to go over when Mechanon Liberator appears. Your group has 20 minutes to defeat the Mechanon Liberator before its consider a failure. There are three towers that empowered Mechanon Liberator. Each of these towers are guard by many, many cowboy robots that will Here what each of these towers do:
  • Red - Found at Ascii's location/Merry Go Around. This will grant the boss Damage Resistance and Damage increase
  • Blue - Found right next to the respawn point. This give a damage, healing, resistance, and dodge debuff to all the players in the area
  • Yellow - Found at the Eastern part of the area, by the VIPER group. With this tower on, all players will constantly receive damage every few seconds.

Ideally, you want the players to wipe the bots and turn off those tower. In reality, since the update in 2024, these towers has been nerf (due to low turn out) and in turn, it get ignored by the player base during this open mission. This same goes with the the Optional Mission to defeat Ascii, Fred C. Dos, and Desert Serpent while defeating each of these three mini bosses that shows up at 1/3 of Mechanon Liberator's HP. Doing so will yield additional Snake Bucks.

Now for the actual Main Boss fight, Mechanon Liberator. It is important that you have a tank to tank this boss or you will see DPS getting kill every second.
  • Cone Breath - FOOM! - When you see a cone aoe targeting at a player, anyone within that cone will get stun.
  • Chest Beam - FREEM! - The Liberator will charge a cylinder aoe at a target. Anyone in range will receive damage and a knock back
  • Giant Eye Laser - The Liberator will fire an eye laser at the target with maintain damage. This also damage anyone next to that target.
  • Micro Missiles - KA BOOM! - The Liberator will pick a target, and will do a blue sphere AoE at that location. If you get hit by this, you will get knock back.
  • Giant Punch - The Liberator will ground pound 2 or 3 times at the main target and the surrounding allies. This does tremendous damage if do not block this attack.
  • Defensive Overload - BOOM! - A giant yellow PBAOE Sphere will pop up around the Liberator, follow by releasing a tremendous amount of damage around him. Everyone should be blocking this attack or they will get wiped from it.

Once this is complete, congrats! Grab the reward circle, pray you got the PVD: Ray Tracer, and turn in the daily quest for Premium Snake Bucks.
Alert: Asciing For Trouble
To start this alert, look at the Alert bar and find this icon and queue:

If you have play the Open mission version of Asciing For Trouble, its pretty identical. You start out clearing the entire area of robots. After that is done, then the alert will spawn a few Gunslingers at a time. While they're not dangerous, these robots LOVE To knockback and pull any players they target.

Once both task is completed, Ascii will come out and challenge you. Unlike the OM version, she will spawn additional cowboy bots to assist her. This can get overwhelming pretty fast if your group is squishy. If that is the case, try to pull or lure Ascii behind those buildings, away from the cowboy bots. With a tank or a healer in the team, this fight is trivial. That being said, she does the following attack:

  • Pistol Whip - She pistol whips you
  • Dual Revovler Single/Double Shot - A simple shot
  • Holdout Shot - She does a side roll and shoot you with one pistol
  • Burst Shot - She simply fire two shot at the target
  • Bullet Ballet - She perform a combo shooting and bashing her target
  • Showdown - FOOM! - She will do a giant cone attack that swipe anything within the cone range.
  • Duel - BAM! - She will root her target and rapid dual shot the target while shouting Dance Fools Dance!
  • Lead Tempest - BOOM! - At 1/3 of her health bar, she will attack PBAOE around her as she starts blasting. This is easily her most powerful move and could easily wipe the party if they do not block the attack in time.

Once you defeated her, congrats! Grab your reward from the reward circle and turn in that daily quest for that Sidekick Token.
