During the beginning stages of Operation Enduring Freedom, CIA backed politician and future Afghan president Hamid Karzai was flown in to Tarinkot, Afghanistan with a few dozen militia and a detachment of US Green Berets to stoke a resistance movement against the Taliban. Around mid-late November 2001, the CIA received reports of a Taliban convoy of at least 50 vehicles on its way to Tarinkot to expel Karzai.
You have control of a Peshawar based RQ-1 Predator drone as well as F-18C's from CVW-2 stationed on the USS Carl Vinson. You're tasked with locating and destroying the Taliban convoy before it can destroy Karzai's HQ.
