A mini-mod which simply retextures east-west facing doors to fit the perspective better. Inspired by Clutter Doors.

Updated Sep 14th, 2025: Minor tweak to remove an offset to east-facing doors that I was experimenting with as a potential later enhancement.

Updated Sep 13th, 2025: Added support for Harry Robinson's continuation of Reinforced Doors, and incorporated 1's stall door fix for Dub's Bad Hygiene.

Updated Jul 24th, 2025: Added support for auto-sorting, as this was not automatically loading after the mods it was supposed to override; also added some simple auto-door compatibility with VTE - Variations

Incompatibility

ReBuild has been reported as incompatible, which makes sense since it includes this mod's functionality; most likely whichever mod is loaded later will "win", since all this does is simple texture replacement.

The same is likely true of any other mod that replaces or adds door textures, with the most likely case being that some doors will not display the east-facing perspectives unless explicit support has been added, which I can try to do on request.

Standard Caveat
If Owlchemist updates their mod, or requests removal of this one, I will delist this mod.

At first, I wanted to take the easy route and just change the texture, but unfortunately, in ReBuild, the textures are packed into some kind of compressed asset, and it seems impossible to edit it :(

Hello, my question may seem unusual, but do you happen to know how to disable this feature in ReBuild? I just don't want to play with this door perspective because there are too few patches for it

It should be fixed now. Try un-subscribing, then re-subscribing to try to force it to update the files.

Verifying game files can also help, but I feel this is a bit of a nuclear option. If you use RimSort, force updating the Steam mods can also work.

Wait, did that actually take effect? I was playing with it as an idea, and it didn't seem to work; still isn't working for me. I thought I reverted it, but maybe I didn't. I'll fix it and push an update soon.

I fixed this issue myself in Photoshop - a simple enough question of moving the DoorSimple_Mover .PNG images so that the door mover's in the centre (consistent with the other door graphics in the mod). But other people might not have that luxury.

Hi, Darius. There's a mistake in the new version with the standard doors, I believe. The're now offset so that the door's right at the edge of the doorway rather than in the middle like they usually are.
