HedgeModManager is a program originally based off Radfordhound's SLWModLoader to help people manage/load mods for the most popular Hedgehog Engine games for PC.

• Install the latest version.
  Example: 7.14-2 (NEWEST)

• Click HedgeModManager.exe on the latest version.

Move HedgeModManager.exe into the SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS folder (Steam)
Library -> SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS (Right Click) -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Browse

Once you have moved the HedgeModManager.exe file into the SONIC_X_SHADOW_GENERATIONS folder, you can open HedgeModManager.exe by double-clicking the file. Accept and install any updates that HedgeModManager notifies you about.

Click on Settings at the top left, where it says Mods - Codes - Settings.
Under Update Channels, click the menu and select Development.

Click Yes

Install Mod Loader

Make sure that Enable Mod Loader is enabled in Settings.

HedgeModManager is now set up. Remember to save all changes by clicking the Save button.

Shadow Generations DevTools is an in-engine toolkit that aspires to eventually become a full featured game editor. The tool is currently in development.

The fastest and most simple way to install Shadow Generations DevTools is with 1-Click Install (GameBanana)

HedgeModManager.exe will automatically open a new window. Make sure to allow the Open link browser prompt. click Download in the bottom right corner of the new HedgeModManager.exe window.

That's it! Make sure the mod is activated by checking that the box is ticked.

Remember to save.

Extract the zip. (Unzip)

Now we move the devtools folder.

Make sure you're not pasting the devtools-miller-vXXX folder, but the devtools folder INSIDE the devtools-miller-vXXX folder.

Move the devtools folder into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SONIC_X_SHADOW_GENERATIONS\mods_shadow
