Alright as the title suggests I'm going to try my best and provide you with some extra info around the 50 kills achievement.
This guide shows you how to do it consistently and without RNG BS.

Loadouts & Perks:
Prioritize in this order:

𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 (speargun upgrades, SMG, or shotgun if unlocked).

𝗔𝗺𝗺𝗼 𝘂𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 (more capacity = fewer reloads in a panic).

𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘀 (you will get nicked eventually).

𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀 (optional but good for tight waves).

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭: 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐫
Location: Swim southwest of spawn point. Basically what I found out after lots of tries is that It doesn't matter if you corner yourself purposely in a spot and try to kill one by one each enemy. There are some exceptions like the caves but there's always that one spot that something managed to randomly pass you and damage you. Even worse eat you alive and ruin your whole run.

THE ONLY SPOT SO FAR THAT WORKS is the boat. Look for a rusty mid sized sunken boat (or small ship) southwest of the spawn point.Specifically on the upper deck, where the captain usually sits. Don't get the wrong idea, sharks WILL GET INSIDE but, in relation with other spots it's much easier to handle 1 in a tight spot.
Mermaids can't hurt you but might throw a spear occasionally so watch out for them as well.

There's an oxygen tank near you so whenever you feel like risking some health or dying of air, go for it, maybe grab some supplies on the way as well (there are 2 chests nearby)

Basically you want to play like this:


Waves 1–3: Easy mode. Don’t waste ammo. Let them get close, aim for the head, conserve resources.

Waves 4–6: This is where it picks up. Swim for the boat. Stay at the boat. Try to level up and get some extra stuff like medkits etc. WATCH OUT, at this point usually some tankier sharks will start to spawn. Killing the smaller ones with headshots so that I can worry completely about those heavier biters seemed to work for all of my runs. Hopefully that goes for you as well.

Wave 7+: You should be near XP Level 10 by now. Mermaids start to appear and hunt you. Like I said before, keep staying inside that boat, maybe they'll throw a spear or two but you can deal with them after you have some resources. I don't usually fight them if I have just my basic speargun. You’ll likely hit 50 kills in the middle of this wave if you’ve been accurate.

Save and uninstall.

𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘀!!!!! 𝔻𝕆 ℕ𝕆𝕋 𝕎𝔸𝕀𝕋 𝕌ℕ𝕋𝕀𝕃 𝕐𝕆𝕌 𝔸ℝ𝔼 𝕊𝕌ℝℝ𝕆𝕌ℕ𝔻𝔼𝔻 𝔹𝕐 𝕋ℍ𝔼 𝕎ℍ𝕆𝕃𝔼 𝕆ℂ𝔼𝔸ℕ!

Avoid open water unless you're confident in your aim and movement.

Kill small fish only when they swarm; don’t waste ammo chasing them. If you can kill a snake by one-shotting then do it, otherwise don't risk resources.
