A skin themed around lugged steel frame bikes. The scope screws and fire selector on the SG553 reminded me of a stem clamp and top tube gear shifters, so I decided to make a retro cycling themed skin.

I tried to incorporate a few elements from bikes, along with the lugging, fake cogs/gears on the side, the magazine is styled after a tan sidewall tyre and the handle and stock like vintage leather bike seats.

The paint has a gloss varnish and slight glitter flake along with contrasting pinstripes and the German "brand" of Drahtesel translates to wire donkey, often used to refer to an old trusty bike.
